Hitching post meats
Thought it wouldbe interesting to see how many folks on here use both traditional and compound bows during archery season. I thought for many years it was one or the other but after a few years of practice altering between the two during the off season I have become proficient at both. Culvercreek hunt club
This is my first year hunting with a recurve and have many years with a compound. I won't be using both, however. Come hell or high water I will have the recurve 100% of the time this year. moog5050
I do. Prefer the trad bows but the compound comes out when there is rain possible/likely or if I am just not shooting to the standard I feel I should.
agross
I try to stay 100% trad. Successful 2 out of the last 3 years on does. Only time i switch to compound is like moog, bad weather, and then i hunt out of my brothers box blind. Not set up to use the recurve and need the distance of the compound. dbHunterNY
yes i do.... but end up ditching the compound. best thing you could do is take the rest and stuff off your compound for the season if you want to use a trad bow, otherwise you'll end up using a compound. lol
