Was really hoping not to see this at all this year

Way to young(doesnt make it ok at any age) and sad.Had his whole life ahead of em,makes me sick....be careful out there guys n gals!!!!

I saw that on the local news a few days ago. He wasn’t wearing any orange. I still have a hard time understanding mistaking a human wearing camo for a brown deer.

First rule of shooting game is "correctly identify your target".  If he was part of a drive and they had doe permits, he should have been wearing orange as some hunters may shoot at anything moving hoping to bag a deer.

Regardless of his actions, IMHO whoever shot him should be charged with negligent manslaughter and sent to prison.  If that was the penalty for killing another hunter, that would make people identify their target before they pull that trigger.
