Persimmon trees

Got three varieties of persimmon put in from chestnut hill tree farm. Winter hardy for w.n.y.  named deer candy. Iv eaten persimmon and can see why theyd like em. Doing good so far. 2 years till productive.  Anyone else try em

To cold in my area, get.down into zone 4 nearly 3...

3 years or so dunstan will produce I planted some to hope they cross with my native American survivors. I get nuts from both and have a lot of volunteer trees growing I hope have resistance.  Try some american filbert( hazelnut) if you want fast dependable producers. Sunny spots edge of fields .. spread easy and can be split and transplanted
