The lack of bucks

I hunt a lot of farm land (what few are left ) every one I talk to has the same thing to say there not seeing the bucks (not that there are alot of them here) I do alot of hunting and and spend a lot of time in the woods I am just not seeing even the small ones

i was feeling the same thing till today.Only little fork horns.Then i saw some 8's chasing does.Now i am excited.Was seeing nothing!!!seat time now baby.

Weather has had them holed up too.

I really haven't seen any bucks worth taking on Saturday either. Hopefully, once the lead starts flying that gets the big boys moving around. I consider myself a novice hunter, am I wrong wishing for some 30* nights to get the rut rolling along?
