Great now we have poachers

One deer me last night...the neighbor just called and their new land has a garage/camp on it...the truck drove up there...rough abandoned dirt road...drove into the property walked around looking in garage windows and then drove down through their hard roads...turned around and came back out...apparently they didn't catch a deer in the lights...Not smart enough to wait for the snow to melt...dirty SOB's...At least I found out they caught the home robbers...one was from Mt Morris...the other Batavia.....home owner came home and caught them in the act

What..??.. From most of your posts I got the idea that you had nothing BUT poachers in your area... Other than the people in your camp, of course..

ya know your a real AH ....poaching is a problem and I hope you never have to deal with crap like this ...but from the way you act...it would not surprise me if you have participated in such things.....You may not care for me as a poster but don't diminish the wrongful act of poaching....... guys like that hurt everybody....having ppl casing camps and driving your lands in the middle of the night is just wrong!!

If you truly think these are the first, you live in a bubble. These are the first you know of. Poaching is serious all over the state. It did not just filter in to your little corner of the world. I never knew of poacher looking in windows unless there were deer hanging in the building they wanted to steal. Sounds more like thieves to me. If this act was witnessed did anyone call the law? Did anyone get a licence plate or description? You want it gone, you need to do your part. Sounds more to me like you are assuming they were poachers,

There was snow on the ground Bubba......by morning there was a clear ice imprint for 50ft of tire track..... where they had gone off the side of the road and were have a hard time getting back on...the shoe prints were perfect ice prints...two sets going in and two sets and a wide flat drag print coming out....just woods no house there...on the neighbors they had the same prints...but they got out at the hunting "garage" and the foot prints went around to the windows...then they drove a grass woodland trail 100yrds turned right and then backed out and left....hey I'd do my part but but gee I'm only assuming the obvious......so why call the DEC to hear where s the proof...and where did I ever say it was only in my little corner of the world?...The DEC did a big poaching round up last year north of NYC

Could it have been the people that used to own the place? Ive heard of that kind of thing happening, especially if the property was foreclosed upon or maybe it was friends or family of the previous owners that were not happy about the sale of the place? Sounds like some nice heavy gates at the entrances are in order.

No WNYBH...these guys have had control of the property for years ...the owner lived down in the SE part of state....never really used it....logged it off and sold it to the neighbor/caretakers...as for our place we've had those parcels for 10 years now...besides it all happened at night...I'd hunted there in the afternoon and walked by...at 5pm...the tracks weren't there then...That's how I knew there was a 10pt and an 8pt locked down with doe...it was were a bunch of ppl had stopped around 12 to watch deer...but the neighors kid said all they saw was a small 6pt...which I had seen there that afternoon as well

from the first post to your rebuttal post the story seems different. It went form looking in windows driving in a field seeing no eyes to a drag mark. Yup complaining about it here is a better plan than reporting it. I will remember that tactic next time I see poachers looking in my windows. And if you read my post closer I said if you think it is new to your corner of the world you are living in a bubble. Than infers it has been going on. Your post made it sound like it was the first time there were ever poachers. Take the time to read and comprehend before attacking and youmay want to post the whole story instead of parts and then tell everyone they are stupid when you omit most of the information.

Well I called the sheriff tonight 4:50 and the lease above me is blasting away and very close....I was raking the path to one of my blinds and it scared the hell out of me....then there were the lights bobbing around their woods...gee lost the deer...well that happens when you can barely see what your shooting at...So Bubba ...I told sheriff about the poaching...he said yep going on all over...he lives not far away ...heard the shots at 1:00am....so they have the night patrols watching out ...went to the camp...I watched as he drove up ...and the lights went out...he came back...no one at camp...he left two sets of lights came on...but now they are going to try and catch them ....can't prove which hunter shot...no deer around so I told him of possible stash places they use....ya know...just freaking hunt legal...I set my phone every day to the legal opener and legal close and the phone vibrates to let me no..day done

HURT FEELINGS REPORT HURTEE...Pygmy HURTER...Growalot SPECIFIC FEELINGS HURT....All of them METHOD OF HURTING...She called me an AH. She suggested that I was a POACHER. She also insinuated that my breath smells and I don't love Jesus. She did not actually say that, but I KNOW she was THINKING it. Just sayin'... RESULT OF HURT FEELINGS...She made me cry... She also made me so upset that I forgot to check my colostomy bag and I had an overflow...In church. HOW LONG WILL FEELINGS REMAIN HURT....Probably forever, because I am a helpless, feeble old man and I probably don't have much longer to live. This hurt feelings report has been submitted to the administraters.
