jmark
Hi Folks, Been a while since I've been here, I hope everyone is doing well. I have a question. I've been getting out some rifles getting ready for deer season. I pulled my Remington 03-A3 (it's a sporterized gun) out of the sock just now, and this thing fell out. Uh... What the heck is it? I mean, it looks kinda familiar, but I can't for the life of me figure out why. I'm sure it's obvious and simple to the folks here, who are much more knowledgeable than me. Would appreciate any help. Reluctant to fire the gun without knowing why this would fall out of the sock (it's otherwise a gorgeous example and a sweet shooter). TIA, jm
steve863
Possibly the hood for the front sight. It could have come loose and slipped off when you pulled the rifle out of the sock.
