GreeneHunter
Well I've been shooting my Winchester # 94 , 30-30 ( top eject ) for 40 plus years and I've inherited another one same model but this one I want to play with , and wanted to put either a Rail or Peep Sights on it ! Suggestions ?
rachunter
Skinner makes nice peep sights http://www.skinnersights.com/winchester_26.htmlAlso check SX sights just give them a call before you buy and ask if the rear sight goes on the receiver or the barrel https://www.xssights.com/Products.aspx?CAT=8508Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

airedale
Your Winchester should be drilled and tapped on the side for old standbys like Williams or Lyman receiver sights, the choices Rachunter gave you are also very good options. hunter
I would go with the ones that have elevation adjustment ability. I put a Skinner on my Marlin 41 magnum and it shot low. He told me to file the front sight which I didn't want to so I took it off.
