How in hell do you shoot someone sitting in their car when you are hunting deer ? Either something screwy or I missed something in the article .

Put a deer in front of some guys and they loose their shit ! My God slow down and think .

I had a weird year for sure , driving the last weekend I had an easy shot at large doe ,crossing a ditch at maybe 15 yards, I never shot as the road and a house were 600 feet down range , my shot would have been into the ditch as she crossed  a safe shot , but I passed couldn’t risk the low odd of skipping a slug that direction.

I Also carry a tourniquet and Combat gauze in my pack . Won’t set foot in the hunting woods without it .

Know your  target and what is beyond. Simple as that. If you don't then you don't shoot.

When more is revealed with this incident, it will be interesting if a deer passed between the hunter and the guy shot. Mistaken for game? Ricochet? Muzzleloader? If it had to happen, I hope he died immediately. No excuse for this sort of thing. 

At least two families destroyed, and the young lady is probably scarred for life.
