It’s two large sent glands at base of tail , headed up towards stomach area. Used in high end fragrances and believe it or not food flavorings.

I think most do. Any that I know. With the fur prices what they are the skull and castors are worth as much or more than the fur

That's 16 pounds. and averaged $76.39 a pound.

It's not a huge sale and it's in NY. Bobcats are taken here but I'd bet most that are are held because they aren't overly common. If I got in a area where trapping them was legal I'd get a wall hanger done. Like I'm doing with my fisher

My at home course arrived today. Looks like a little bit of work....but hopefully I can plug away at it this week. Read a few chapters already.....seems like it's going to be fun.

I agree, the handwriting requirement made this difficult for me. Was tempted to have one of my daughters write my answers in.

Too bad they aren't worth much these days. If fur got a decent price, I would really consider it and create a nice little western hunt trip fund from it.

Agree totally ....there really isn't much in return for the investment. I am hoping to get my certificate and try a few sets for Coons before the season is over Feb. 15

I am just looking to trap 2 coons and turn them into hats for my boys.
