Geno C
Ok.i have to share this because i heard it in the car while driving a little while ago and could not leave the car to go back in the house until i heard the whole thing while i was literally LMAO. Ok so on our local radio stations we have stations that do "to catch a cheater" "war of the roses" and so on. So this wife suspects her husband of cheating so she calls the station and they pretend to offer a free dozen roses to the "unlucky" winner LOL, sent anywhere in the U.S. well the husband says he excepts the roses and would like to send them to Boston to his girl on the side and says write in the card "i will sneak out of town to see you soon" Now, mind you the guys "wife" is on the phone the whole time listening and she jumps in saying you are the reason why we are not getting along the reason why we are falling apart and really ripping into the husband for cheating. the guys is so taken back he has NO IDEA what to say. While she is tearing him a new one the radio station calms her down and asks her to explain what she has told them prior to the phone call and she insists she doesnt want to say. The radio station said "please tell your husband exactly what you told us about yourself cheating on him for the past 7 months" i almost fell on the floor laughing as now the husband starts ripping her a new one! you just had to listen to it lol while i was writing this i thought to look up the website: KTU war of the roses and i found all the old one but they did not download todays. i will have to check tomorrow, its funny i swear
waterweasle
unless they called teh husband and told him he was on the radio and getting free roses, they couldnt air it, since its illegal to put someone on the air without telling/asking them first, all those radio " prank calls" are fake, cant air em
Geno C
Not sure the logistics or the legality of what i heard BUT its what i heard and was funny as heck. i never heard of it being "illegal" to carry a matter like that out without informing the person and telling them they were cranking them. someone can correct me if i am wrong? Real or fake that stuff is funny
Elmo
I listen to the war of the roses everyday at work because one of my staff leaves the radio on during work. We all stop working when war of the roses comes on. Some of them can be real funny. They also do follow ups to tell you how the "couple" are doing months later. Elmo
The craziest follow I heard was this hispanic dude who was caught cheating on his fiance'. He kept on flying to south america on business trips. when he got caught, he later reveal that he's actually already married to some woman in colombia. On the follow up, apparently the fiance called off the wedding obviously but she also got a hold of the wife in colombia to tell her about her husband. Well, the wife then shot the dude dead. shawnhu
I listen to it when I have time, but I did hear another one where this girl admitted on the radio that she thinks that her man is cheating on her, and that she was cheating on him to get back at him. She wanted to confirm her suspicions by having the station do the war of the roses on him. Long story short, he confesses his love to her via the roses, and she was shocked. Then the radio hosts were like... *ahem* don't you have something to tell him? She was so scared that the truth about her cheating on him would leak out, you can hear it in her voice. She made up some crap, and then the host was like, I think she wants you to meet someone. Then she's like, "yeh I want you to meet one of my girlfriends". The host goes, no, someone really special. Then the dude is like "this just got really awkward". After the prank, the host explained that under the agreement, they are not allowed to disclose her statements, but they are allowed to air the conversation. So eventually, he's going to hear this on the radio, and he did and left her ass later. That was some funny stuff!

WNYBuckHunter
Most of them are nothing but radio bits, or like Elmer said, works. I'm pretty sure Elmer does or used to listen to BTLS with the use of that term lol.
