What’s a decent gun safe

I like Robs idea of a home security system . I have that plus safe.  I asked my father in law who is a nys trooper,  he said home security system as others said protects your entire house and what's inside it .

It never comes in contact with the metal , it’s in a small container and absorbs moisture ..

Done it for years .. works great

Yes ! Suggested get a plate steel model not tac welded sheet metal container .

I run a golden rod and monitor levels with a hygrometer.

Cool. Good luck on your shopping.  I've seen a few at auctions on occasion.  Might be a good spot to look.

My mistake. I looked on the label and see the active ingredient is calcium chloride, a salt which is corrosive  to steel as I thought  . I wish you luck on your safe search and moisture control.

Well roof companies use it to melt ice in aluminum gutters with no issues..

But again , you are not putting the gun into the container ..

Ive used it for years and zero issues. It does exactly what it’s supposed to.

Removes moisture and keeps my guns like brand new !
