Spring Bux & First Fawn

Went out to work food plots and saw mama and fawn get up and walk off one of the cameras caught them.   Pulled cards and lots of nubs too

I was wondering today when the first fawn pics of the year would start showing and here it is.  Cool.  The herd is healthy and prosperous over there.

Thinking there should be a lot of fawns this year.  Planting corn and soybeans again this spring so they will feed well this summer and fall.  
was hoping for some turkey pics but only got this one.  They seem to be quiet hardly gobbling and few and far between this spring

The 2nd fawn I came across almost met the brush hog reaper.  I was mowing last night and you can see in the pictures where a doe must’ve stashed her fawn yesterday morning then I came along last night and in the second picture you can see me looking at it. It shout out from underneath my tractor I didn’t get it with the brush hog the bucket or the tires amazingly it just ran away looks like mama found her the next morning tiny little things couldn’t even see it in the grass.
