Ok, what the heck are these flying ant type things that seem to be coming out of the ground? It’s almost like a hatch on a trout stream. They come out of the ground walk around a bit then fly away. I’m watch softball practice and they are over the entire field and get pretty thick at times.

Ants . Happens every year. Mating flight like a swarm of bees

It was/is pretty wild I’ve never seen it like this before. I don’t think I’m underestimating when I say millions of them in this small field.

I had them like 2 weeks ago couldn't grill put me inside my pool the next day was covered the top
