Paula
i use this on my chickens in coop and run, I use to put on my goats also. we use on garden plants. I need to something to combat these suckers. any info on housing and caring for these birds is helpful thx guinea hens tend to wander and do not stay around home base like chickens do. and they are noisey as hell, very comical in the way they carry on. the eggs are edible but small and hard to crack. they do eat ticks but they might be eating ticks in every other part of the county too. they can be kept in a coupe just like chickens but when they mature they might just roost in trees or wherever they end up at the end of the days travels. you might just be better off spraying..becsue getting chickens or guinea just to combat ticks might not be worth the work and expense, you really have to like that kinda thing. your dogs will be eating the poop and you will be stepping in it and my buddy just had to have his dogs treated for a parisit it got from eating chicken crap? pistolp71
Yes, they most likely wouldn't stay in your yard. They wander. The noise factor is what turned me off to the idea. I think I would rather have Lyme than hear those things on my roof at 5am.
