Worked for the DOT and we used to call them cake eaters!  Lol.  

It was setup so all the guys that were in their last three years got the most overtime cause it bolstered their retirement too.  So your still paying for it years after. Lol. 

In the winter I would make 7-8K extra on overtime. And this was many years ago.
