Just heard back from the D.E.C.

[Water Rat]

I emailed them this picture of a deer in my backyard. I was informed that it is most likely suffering from demodectic mange. It’s survivable once it’s sheds it’s winter coat and if the temperatures cooperate. The deer herd around my neighborhood aren’t very healthy. Last year there was one that was emaciated , one with EHD and now this. I hope she makes it.

In some parts of CT you can earn an additional buck tag by killing 3 does... There's gonna be a BIZ doe bloodbath!  @Biz-R-OWorld
