So much for leaving for camp 2night

I gotta tell ya, I went to work dreaming of hanging out at the land tonight with some friends for the weekend eating a crap ton of food and alcohol by the campfire . I was counting down the time till 5pm. I talked to my wife around 2 who was home all packed, waiting to go pick up our son at school and head up early. 2:30 I get a call from her, the nurse just called and he fell in gym class and banged the side of his head/eye on a rock wall and she had to go get him right away. Took him to the doctor who was worried about a concussion and said to stay home and see how he feels in the am. He has a baseball size ball just off the corner of his eye. Dang kids!!

Thanks p, i say he's fine but what the hell do i know. Pretty ugly bruise tho. My buddy just sent me a pic of the campfire. Nothing like having your friends having fun at your place while I'm sitting on the couch. Oh well could be worse

Yea, no sweat on leaving tonight.  I know it isn't easy and you really want to go but hang in there, it's the right thing to do.

Thats what boys do.  I got two 4 and 6 yrs.  introducing them to four wheelers tomorrow.  I'm a little scared.
