  1. Hey, if they change the laws we could all put out feeders and attract wild Bore! No thank you. Yeah I shop at Gander once in a while, it's sort of on the way to camp and I do small plots, they usually stock the seed-mix I'm after. Seen the same jazz this thread is about, who hasn't if you've been there. It occurs to me corn and 'feed' would attract unwanted critters. Look at it this way, think about all the rats that have settled down to welfare in this country. Gander should rent rear-tine tillers, or - sell these signs;

  3. I have seen clubs form 15 a year to much higher. I think Rochester Brooks is around $200 a year. usually the more facilities the higher the costs. look around and see what fits your needs. if you just want a rifle bench and that is it it may be cheaper....If you want full shotgun facilities, club house, pistol and gun bays it will usually run you more. throw in sporting clays fields and hunting property and it goes up higher. Look around. I think it is worth it and I am enjoying getting to know some new folks.

  4. Well.. as a past president/director of a couple of clubs, and current secretary for our County Federation of Fish & Game Clubs. Here's a question for you.... If you join a club, what are YOU willing to contribute? Pay it forward... these clubs kept hunting, fishing and shooting sports alive. This is about making a contribution to the next generation coming up.

  6. And people wonder why many companies left this country in droves. Sorry if any union guys get offended, but in the current day with all of the labor laws, etc in place, the time of the union has passed. They did great things for workers way back when, but have become nothing more than corrupt, power hungry pigs feeding on the trough that is the American economy.

  7. I also like Hot Dogs and I have a few favorite brands. I especially like them on the BBQ, gas or charcoal, and a little burnt. Then, some good spicy mustard, like a Dijon or spicy brown. Not that yellow crappy mustard that comes in the plastic bottle! Good sauerkraut, mustard and good all beef hot dogs. What is your favorite brand?
