You mean the modern world has never gone through a man made Pandemic before. All of the other nature produced pandemics didn't have the death rate of Covid19, because they weren't weaponized. The issue is that it didn't take long to figure out what worked and what didn't. Knowing that, the "Experts" still mandated their asinine ideas because of the power to control the populace. The layman Governors that didn't follow the experts educated guesses, but followed what was found to actually work had half the death rate of the Liberal run states and they also didn't shut down their states economy's either. Yet those Governors were chastised and called stupid from the bully pulpit of educated scholars hiding in their masks surrounded by toilet paper. We trusted some of the experts and they failed because they got politicized and used by the libs to do their bidding. If they were really experts they would've followed the lead of the states that were winning the fight against covid early on and adopted those methods to help their patients.

Since Savage has no plans to offer parts for the Impulse line of rifles and I wanted to have several quick change barrels for my short action Predator model, I took the initiative and hounded my mad scientist machinist friend and fellow coyote hunter to make it happen. After shooting my Predator rifle, He bought one. It took almost a year to get it done, but we did it and now I have 2- .243 and 1-.260 Rem quick change barrel assembly's for my rifle. Since savage won't sell bolt heads for the rifle, we're limited to short action cartridges with a .473" rim dia. We made a barrel nut with flats on it so it can be tightened with a big adjustable instead of a spanner wrench. The red anodized barrel extension is the factory savage extension. I treated the parts with gun black treatment for some protection. The last pic is of the parts in the white. It takes me around two minutes to change barrels. Range and zero hold testing are underway and look very promising. .

The heartless leftists here seem to just want people to die because their masters tell them that the Jab that doesn't stop the transmission of covid or getting infected by covid is ok because it mitigates the symptoms. You just need to take it every six months because it won't work on future covid variants that seem to pop up conveniently every six months. You don't need to be an expert in the medical field to read the writing on the wall. In the coming years there will be a study about the aftereffects of the jab in the medical journals and it's going to be a shining example of what happens when the Gov't takes control of the medical field and puts politics before patients.

They need to be 750 watts to be able to use an E bike legally on state lands, as an E bike will be considered a motor vehicle if it is over a certain wattage. The motor is only allowed to help, not fully power it. NY doesn't want crazy people on E bikes ruing the countryside like a plague of locusts.

I had a folding china made E bike, as none of the hunting E bikes folded. As you know they are expensive. I wanted a folding model to fit in my van for storage and transport. Even while folded, the thing took up a lot of space. I ended up selling it and getting a dual drive 5,000 watt folding scooter that fit's in my van better, is faster, goes up hills, carry's more weight and was under $1,800 shipped. Whatever brand you get make sure the motor drive gears are metal and not plastic and also make sure the max weight is at least 50 pounds over your weight. Get the most wattage you can get, as anything under 3,000 watts won't do much of anything to help you get up any type of hill or incline, especially when decked out for hunting.

Grouse numbers even when high in NY state are nothing compared to other new England state grouse numbers because we don't have the land and active logging needed to keep them here. A lot of the old spots that were productive are either overgrown or posted. Grouse need a certain habitat to keep them around. NY does have a grouse program, but when there's not a lot of land , but a lot of hunters , your just traveling to take a walk in the woods with your dog in the most beautiful groomed grouse cover imaginable, but there's not a grouse to be found. You and your dog will tire from seeing no grouse and your GSP will get bored and start looking to hunt other things in the woods. If you want to get your dog on grouse, I recommend you taking the time to go up to north east kingdom in Vermont or the north Maine woods. By the time you leave, your dog will know what a grouse is and you'll also know how to shoot at and sometimes hit them.

Grouse will be in the most desolate part of any state land that has the thickest cover filled with multi flora sticker bushes and briars. Unless you have a good dog, you best bet is to have another hunter sneak to the other side of the thicket and wait for a bird to flush as the other hunter is cursing while being ripped apart trying to make their way through the thicket.

I can't have a discussion with someone who judges people by their profession and education. I can assume from your responses that your an expert on everything and not open to a real discussion. These are the same experts that can't tell us what the weather will be with certainty in 24 hours using the latest radar, but anyone that doesn't take their word as bible for what they predict is going to happen years and decades from now is considered ignorant ? No one is claiming the climate doesn't change, just that mankind is to blame for it and that boatloads of money will make severe climate change dissipate. The fact is that US Pollution regulations have been around for decades being guided by the top climate experts in the field, yet the climate conditions have been getting worse.
