I’m thinking they bed in the goldenrod and if I brushog off a big area and plant clover , that may be my food plot

Yea I’m good with neighbors both north and south . Ive always hunted in the woods but I’m sure they bed in that golden rod

Ok I have 60 acres to hunt myself , I have a treestand on the two blue dots, the field is all golden rod but I can brushog a section down to let the clover and grass grow up for feed. I do that now in the upper left corner and the deer come in there to eat a lot . Now I have one more stand to put up . Im thinking of putting it on the point of that white spot which is all timber and wet at times. I thought then I could brushog the goldenrod in like 1/2 acre area and out my stand facing that big field . Catch the bedding deer or the deer coming from the ag fields to the north and south thoughts ?

Ah just another option . I usually go with my .243 ,, but I’d like to try both the 30-30 and my lever .357

I have a Rossi lever action rifle in .357 wonder how it will do for deer at like 50 or 60 yards

What a joke , buying a couple boxes of 30-30 fill out the needed info and pay 2.50 and wait , and wait , and wait .. Delayed , need to check back in a day , or two , or whatever

I have a heart stent that was done 13 yrs ago when every Dr said the pressure I was feeling was a pulled muscle … 98 percent blocked LAD.. Lucky one Dr listened and sent me for an angio My main issue is my shoulders . And now a ruptured bicep.. Both shoulders have impingement of rotator cuff My dragging at the place I’d need the sled is a gully that’s mostly uphill on the way out , I’ve dragged several out of here the last few years and it wasn’t easy .. thru deep snow on one .. Ill try the sled , it’s also handy for hauling in my two ground blinds and office chairs

Yea that’s kinda what I figured . I sprayed my .243 , it came out decent , I masked off the scope eye pcs I may just do the forend and stick with paint It probably doesn’t do anything but make it look better to me , I’m sure deer don’t care
