  1. Sounds like me , the nice 8 I’ve been getting in my camera was killed by the neighbor. I saw one big doe, shot her. Saw two others the other night 5 minutes before dark ,,, passed on the shot . Id like one more and I’m done …
  2. Sure sounds like it Im waiting for Baldwin to next blame Trump .His BS story is so far fetched only another liberal would believe it !
  3. And also this idiot says he has zero fault in this girls death ! Hes a typical liberal moron !
  4. So IF these deer saw me leave my spot last night at dark , I should go back this afternoon ? Wonder this time of year of morning or afternoon sits are best
  5. 100 percent ! Typical liberal. Hates guns but has no issue making millions off movies full of guns !
  6. First off having “George” do the interview just adds to the bs factor ! Why not have Tucker Carlson or someone with at least an ounce of gun knowledge do the interview . Next they will have the women in The View question him .Or Chris Cuomo To say he feels no responsibility at all is unbelievable !
  7. Good idea , I’m hoping I didn’t spook them when I left : it was so dark I really could see
  8. Yes tonight at 4:55 two big does came out of the wooded west side, I didn’t take the shot , it was too dark I felt . I didn’t have a great shot , about 100 yards but not a perfect shot. If there had been snow so if I had to track a ways ..,, Not sure if it would be a good morning spot or better afternoon
  9. Two big does came out of the edge of the woods at 4:55 If there was snow on the ground I would have shot … Probably should have but … 100 yard shot with my .243… Hope I see them again ..
  10. I’m thinking afternoon rather than morning ??
  11. I’m thinking it may help the deer come over to my clover/grass…they would be more hidden because I have a 125ft wide by 550ft long patch of thicket (west)and trees making my plot secluded . Then there are 100 acres of woods ( east) unless they keep just coming out at night
  12. So going without , how did that pan out for you
  13. Agree, I’ve seen 1 deer, a doe, she’s in the freezer, hunt 4 different areas
  14. Humm well I always take mine to the butcher same day I kill it .. He skins and hangs it in the cooler for a day or so.. The inner loins i always just put a little olive oil, salt and pepper and cook med rare! They are always very very tender cut with a fork !
  15. Well couple reasons , there isn’t a big enough tree where I wanted to sit first off .. Second I don’t have a stand I can put up right now but I do have a hub blind .
  16. I’ve never had much luck still hunting , but I’m probably to fast and or noisy
  17. I believe he is just thinking the hub blind may spook deer being only a few weeks left..and sitting hidden wouldn’t
  18. I’d like one more buck or doe , not fussy, promised a friend one for the last two years ,,, Hope I can come thru this year
  19. I’ll go over in the morning and trim some scrub where my chair is and try it as an afternoon spot …
