  1. Seeing if there is any one looking for a bow still. Will come with the rest.. Nice bow but I like the Elites better. Also have 29" mod with it.
  2. On that note, what about air rifles ? Plenty other states allow taking deer with those now.
  3. @luberhill https://www.gunbroker.com/item/888383424
  4. Nothing left here from Honeoye to Rochester to brockport
  5. I bet that bird shot is gone now also
  6. Expand the search radius and you can find rust free ones. Buddy got a clean 2009 with 88k miles for $13k from NC
  7. You may want to wait a few months or yr otherwise right now there is no place to purchase unless you are willing to pay the gold price.
  8. Since 1998 , the year 2020 has the highest top 10 weeks of NICS checks https://www.fbi.gov/file-repository/nics_firearm_checks_-_year_by_state_type.pdf/view
  9. When did they have much to begin with. It was empty shelves whenever I went there last year.
  10. Found a small shop in spencerport, wanted 80cents a round for 9mm
  11. Easier said than done. There is so much pressure that one is always looking over their shoulder. Job security is tough these days
  12. Sorry if posting a link for another forum is against forum rules.. admin can remove it https://www.crossbownation.com/threads/excalibur-2021-twin-strike-some-specs-and-teaser-pics.112009/page-7
  13. Any one seen the new crossbow by Excalibur called Twinstrike. Thoughts on the design? I for one feel it definitely takes this out of the bow category. Will be launched today.
  14. I am in he same boat as you, the 40s bring on a realization that aging is not optional and what we could do in 20 and 30s is long gone.
  15. Yeh, its there but have to forget the prices of pre covid and think ahead to buy for when nothing is available.
  16. I drove a 2005 pilot till the frame gave up. I did everything with it from towing 3k# trailer or pulling logs and stumps out. The engine and trans ran great at 262k miles with basic maintenance and even then I sold it for $1000. Some guy repaired the frame and is still using it. Ridgeline can tow upto 5000lb
  17. LOL I told my kids the same, they can earn their living like their father and grand father did.
  18. Buy the vehicle for your daily usage and an AWD 4cyl will do just that. For the 4-5 times you need to tow your trailer/camper rent a truck from uhaul. Way cheaper in the long run.
  19. I have actually stopped contributing to 401k. Whats there can continue to grow but definitely plan to reward myself in the few good yrs that I have left ahead before health gives way. The famous words by Randy Newberg" you will run out of health before wealth"
  20. That is my biggest fear also. I will love Gods country so much that I will leave NY behind forever. I am in no rush but would like to do it by 2022 , being employed with a job with only gives 3 week vacation in a yr I cant take too much time scouting. Short term I will apply for the PA lotto but will keep the plan in motion for some place west. I would prefer to bow hunt but given that I wont be able to go every yr will try my luck with Rifle for the first time around.
  21. Yeh thats about dbl of what I am looking to spend. It is on my bucket list but dont want it to break my bucket either..lol
