Definitely neighborhood specific, my friend in Mendon always has tons of deer. Wife is anti hunting Further down south in Bloomfield the usage of nuisance tags have almost killed the herd.

The irondequoit rules are very tough, and in some cases have to even call up the guy in charge before one goes to track the deer.
