Any thoughts on this one https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/traditions-nitrofire-muzzleloader-rifle-with-scope-combo Seems super easy to clean but each shot is $2.70

I really wanted to try ML this year but the shortage craziness prevented that dream. Maybe next season

I tend to hunt alone a lot also. Why because most people around me dont hunt and those who do have no time now or the schedules never sync up. Now how I hunt is what I self learnt, didnt really have a mentor per se. Cut my teeth hunting The Honeoye Creek stateland back in 2000's. Solo hunters cant do deer drives. But I have seen so many videos that I really want to try one. Maybe go down to Virginia next yr..lol

Can you share that recording here or is it not allowed? I am sure it would be beneficial for most. -
I am even scared to look at measly reserve to think about shooting firearms weekly. Plus none in the market to back fill it. I have always bought new and shot old. But to OP , shoot your crossbow and make sure its all good still.

Most deer live in Mendon Ponds and Durand Eastman park

After my interaction with them, I think or want to think that they realize that this # has caught on and I have not gotten any more calls since then from IRS(International Revenue Scammers). But tomorrow is another day..
-
Dont want to sound as a downer but after some recent events and family losses, I realized life is too short to plan for next yr or season. I would shoot the deer that lets me, not hoping for it to grow till next yr. What if I am not around or that deer gets killed by truck. So fill your tags now before we are in the bag

So in case you havent been called yet, you are among the few lucky ones. You get a call saying that your SS # has been suspended and need to press 1 to resolve this immediately. This action takes you to a fake call center of all the places in India and they ask you to verify your info by giving them your name, address and SS. Do not ever do that. Instead i drilled a new one in them when I got this call. They keep spoofing numbers and call from different numbers. Best bet dont answer calls from numbers you dont know They swindled my 78yr old neighbor out of $9k which he will never see again.

They pattern us way faster but sometimes they slip. Good luck Hope you get him, that is nice one.

Looking for info on good public land hunt in wnYy
suburbanfarmer replied to Bigdaddy's topic in Deer Hunting
Honeoye creek is a uphill trek where as HighTor is even steeper. The only flat land you will find is the Oak Openings in Rush but that gets pounded and becomes ghost town after opening week. Everyone from Rochester goes there due to its proximity. Best option is Hemlock Stateland for those semi-tired hunters Get the best of both mixes of terrain and beautiful views. -
Two nice bucks still prowling my woods.
