  1. right cause you have it sigthed in at 300, so its still rising to meet that POI, if you zeroed your gun at 500.............it would be rising at 200 also if you had it zeroed dead on at 200, it would be high at 100, and dropping into the zero mark at 200
  2. yet you keep typing....I stated in my original posting that I didnt recall it........................so I could have been either 100% correct 100%incorrect, or anywhere in between............... tell me what it was............ or sit there and make fun, or try to
  3. I voted for reagan.......................though it was a vote in the middle school that I was in at the time................does that count?
  4. bullets shot from a barrel starts to drop the instant it leaves the barrel, it does not rise above muzzle height, unless aimed higher............. so yes it will drop even before you get to 100 yards.................. unless good ole roy designed flying bullets.................gravit still pulls em down.....................flying bullets dinsdale!!!!!
  5. yeah...thats why I said I couldnt recall it, hoping that someone would have further info on what I was thinking.......................... thanks for pointing that out capt obvious
  6. and I cant recall what was the deal that obama was supposed to sign with the UN?? that was agun crontol issue wasnt it? and not even FROM our OWN govt
  7. uhhhh yeah I know they can be owned, so can suppressors...............not in NY though........................ in something like 34 other states( the exact number eludes me at the moment) I didnt realize how you were using it, didnt see the qoutation marks, damn near all politicians and alot of other uneducated people use the term automatic/semi autos as one in the same
  8. certainly you mean SEMI AUTOMATICS, since full autos arent allowed in NY state, so your guns are semi automatics................unless you're breaking federal law? you know...... The National Firearms Act of 1934
  9. I heard those mammoths were a distant cousin of my antlered mouse
  10. sure they do WNY.all ya gotta do is BELIEVE, apparently the lack of evidence DOES mean that they exist.............................. so therefore I continue my hunt for the elusive antlered mouse..................think my 338 lapua will take him down?
  11. I thought about it, cant now, I need in county references............and I dont know enough people here to be references................
  12. and I'll continue to keep beliving in the buckmouse, as in the picture I posted, since theres just as much proof of his existence as a NY cougar, a pic and a few witnesses seem to be enough.....................dont forget all teh bigfoot sighteings in NY too
  13. http://www.gohuntn.com/gohuntn/trail-cam-proof-are-cougars-living-michigan/ maybe its this cougar....................ran to MI and got the same pic.....amazing
  14. well heres a pic that one of my college buddies sent me, he said they've seen him a few times mostly during parties when they are having a campfire.................I hope I see him during the rut......................................must be true I have "witnesses"
  15. huh? muzzle breaks dont do anything to calculate distance.......................
  16. first result I found.......... http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/07/27/us-mountainlion-idUSTRE76Q5ZE20110727 theres been tons of "sightings" from all over the place, NY and beyond that proved to be anything but a mountain lion, again, large house cats to golden retrievers have been falsly ID'd as lions, and with all the game cameras that are out there, you would think that a few more pictures would show up
  17. yeah one cat that was spotted, and left DNA samples in its wake......................that traveled from what was it, N Dakota??? doesent make a sustainable population,
  18. and theres been tons of "sightings" that after someinvestigation turned out to be anything from large house cat to someones dog
  19. every gun likes different bullets, you may have to try several brands and bullet weights to see what your gun likes
  20. actually the state already said they are legal, its just up to the landowner if they wish to plant one as the law already allows
  21. some of the best hunts durring my college career was that of a few buddings hiking the red pin stads and shooting tons of red squirells, cleaned, browned in a pan, then tossed in tomatoe sauce for awhile..............not bad
  22. if all else fails, maybe get him into a class and get hom out for turkey season,
