-
not to be an ass, but if you know you are having a person child or adult that is going to try hunting, wouldnt you start looking alot earlier in the year then right before the season to get classes done?

Looking into the legality of food plots.
waterweasle replied to lsnydes's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
well since baiting is already illegal, and planting foodplots isnt, just dont worry about it, but if it concerns you so much, make the area you hunt as inhospitable to deer as possible, no food sources, no water sources, no bedding area, or cover of any kind...................dont worry we wont bother with the "legality" of how you are hunting, -

lol of course thats baiting, unless of course you plan on harvesting those oaks in the future for lumber, then the acorns are merely a biproduct -

I didnt practice at all this spring/summer, just didnt have the time or even a decent place to do so, I know my bow is in top form as it was when I packed it away last fall, but dont be afraid, IF I even buy a license this year, I'll probably just watch the deer run around the woods.................losing interest sucks -
The Tyrant Bloomberg Strikes Again
waterweasle replied to Elmo's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Bloomburg was a DEM, and changed to republican JUST to be able to run, and when the R next to his name didnt mean anything anymore, he changed it yet again to an I -
if you already have a current survey, why are you having a surveyor coming out to do it again?? sorry but you'[]re post is kinda rambling, I"m confused, and while not a surveyor I've worked off of hundreds of survey maps for my job over the last 10 years.......................

yeah you;re eating that, but its mixed with your leaner venison to get some of the pork fat into the venison, probably something like 80% venison( plus seasoning) and 20% bulk pork sausage mix

several years ago I contacted the DEC about possibly getting a permit to do a burn at my cousins farm, the guy I was talking to said the chances of getting a controlled burn permit were between slim and none, and that unless it was an "accidental" fire you couldnt do it, not without fines and other associated grief
-
on the property I work on, part of my job is to remove equipment, thats not supposed to be there, stands, cameras......... theres not much out there that will keep a determined thief from getting your gear, even locked, its amazing what cable cutters or bolt cutters will do when needed

THE GREAT HEALTH CARE DEBATE..
waterweasle replied to sits in trees's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
thats nice that you need to be told WHEN and how much you MUST give by the govt, while I choose to give out of my own charitable donations...............awfully high pedestal you've climbed for yourself -
THE GREAT HEALTH CARE DEBATE..
waterweasle replied to sits in trees's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
you're already able to help out people that are less fortunate, you can pay someone elses insurance all you want..............I dont want to be MADE to do it...........auto insurance isnt a mandate, since you arent fined IF you dont get car insurance.........since if you dont have a car, you dont need insurance -
you guys are killing me, I just cancelled a trip a little later in the spring due to the high fuel costs, and I have a new switch rod I want to try out.................
