I wasnt being sarcastic either, I dont understand the hate of the "EBR" evil black rifle..............they shoot good, whats wrong with that, you can buy uppers in multiple calibers, from the 17hmr, to rounds worthy of elk and big bears, and everything in between, when I got my first one, I showed it to my dad ( an ex marine) and he was like what the hell are you gonna use that for, I told him hunting, and he gave me that sideways look saying ok wiseass..................so I ran to the gunsafe grabbed the win model 100 in .308 that he gave me to hunt with ages ago( its a semi-auto also) handed him both guns, and had him tell me how they were different.............besides the black plastic stock..he was stuck.cause there isnt any other difference...............again......................you pull the trigger, they go bang......thats cool enough alone to have one

my guns are like golf clubs, each has its place on where I decide to hunt, the heavy barreled AR in the pic is for an open area where I can shoot out to 240yards, I have a much lighter AR for work in the woods.............then again, I'm waiting on a 338lapua to arrive.................maybe that'll be enough gun? or not

well might be that they have multiple legal tags, look up and see how many deer can be taken with proper tags in westchester county, I think I can legally shoot 6 bucks, and thats after shooting four does( after filling your antlerless tags, you can recieve more tags good for buck or doe)...oh yeah.....I havent filled a tag in a few years either, wether it be with rifle or bow.....................

I dont think you have to wear blaze orange at kensico, since its a bow only area, certainly never heard of anyone even getting talked to about it there, or loudens point for that fact.............never seen anyone at any of the bow only areas wearing orange at all, then again, from what I understand is that the DEP COPS cant realize to enfore temporary posting closures around the reservoirs from hurricane sandy...................

just tie a loop in the line, insert loops through bows riser( on bows that you can, and put loop around stablilizer, no way for it to come off that way, ground level bow is hanging chest level, guns, tie line around wrist of stock, bring the line up along the stock and throw a half hitch or two around the barrel, hangs nice and cant go anywhere like that

saw 4 deer this afternoon, one doe, and 3 bucks( button buck, 4pnt and 1/2 of an 8pnt- he was missing half his rack).... in the area are antler restrictions, has to have 3 on a side to be legal................I guess the 1/2 racked buck was legal but didnt wanna shoot a half a deer

you most certainly can shoot slugs outta it, tons of deer get shot by guys shooting smoothbores and slugs

the land in question has some interesting posted signs on it, or used to, including all the things you couldnt do on it, and it even named a single person to stay off the land his name was NED......they now have signs saying something about getting permission to hunt thier land for 5k a year.....might be 10K
