how do they become legal to hunt out of??? I dont understand your question........you built it, you can hunt out of it( just like technically you can hunt out of your own house if you wanted) as long as you were 500' from another dwelling or structure, or had permission from those other structures

a few years ago I was at my parent house for some family function, phone rings and theres a guy calling from California saying he found this wallet, and if we knew how to get in touch with the owner..... now the owner was my nephew who was stationed at camp pendleton in the marines, and lost his wallet, so this guy calls NY, gets my nephews grandparents number and mnages to track himn down...............pretty funny.......best thing was that the guy and his wife bought my nephew and his buddies dinner when they showed up to collect his wallet a few hours later

certainly dont know all the laws around the country.BUT if I'm traveling to another state I no for damn sure I'll be calling the state police in that state and asking what I should do or what I can carry in thier state........and upon entering NYC with thier legally owned guns( in thier home states) they ARENT law abiding anymore, they broke local laws

now ya do, my guns are locked while in transit, they all have hard cases and stay locked till I reach where I'm headed, so now you know one and the lady at the WTC WAS arrested for having an unregistered firearm..........it wasnt registered in NY, plain and simple. I've flown from the 4 airports in the area, jfk, lagaurdia(sp) white plains and newark, carrying my guns out to AZ each year, and while carrying the hard cases into the airport at any of them, I didnt get a second looks from any of the cops or TSA people.............cept one TSA guy saying " nice rig" when they opened the case to look at the gun

well seeing that they broke the law, as bad as it may be...they still broke the law, NY, let alone NYC doesent recognize anyone elses permits, so if you get busted for having a handgun in your possession, then tough, you broke the law........and micro stamping?? that never did pass into law did it?

shop around to different shops, I had one shop nearby that wanted $80 + 5% of the guns value to do the transfer( needless to say I havent been back to his shop) and finally found one that'll do the transfer for $25

if you want to use it for spooting deer/predators I wouldnt suggest using any lenses to cover a white light, from what I've read using lenses cuts down on the lights brightness.. I use an XLR250, you can get thim in white, red, green and blue LED..... the name 250 comes from the CO saying you can ID animals out to 250 yards, I have the green and red, and the green is BRIGHT

why not just shoot what its already dead on with??, and dope your elevation drops from there

the way it was told to me by an ECO, if the land is unposted, unimproved, apparently unused and unfenced, that you COULD tresspass, untill the owner or an agent of the owner tells you to leave, and after that if caught you could be arrested/ticketed for trepassing
