No that is up here on the North farm. With 1000acres of crops and 1000’s of acres of pretty lightly hunted military base across the road it’s a never ending parade of pretty much all critters. Will have to let a couple guys on to remove a few I guess. I just don’t have the desire to take one out.

Had to call in some backup to put the smack down on probably 6-700 birds that tore up some new Wheat seeding for two days before they got thinned out. Like 77 birds were reduced from those flocks.

Can’t handle the heat or rush that would go with this early season hunt. I don’t hit it much myself until Halloween. Only after a certain model and that gets twice as hard burning up your spots before the timing is perfect. Good for starting out some new hunters with the warm temp’s.

My calendar has a reminder showing me that my handgun permit is up for recertification the first of September so I went online to the recertification site and did what I had to do. I had quite a few updates I had to make but it went pretty smooth and without a hitch. With a concealed carry permit it is only good for three years before having to be done again. I do not know if a notification is sent out if you are coming due, I didn't get one so it is probably a good idea to check and find out what your due date is.

Did mine back in June. They know exactly what gun one buys with all the registration crap. Yet they continue to make us jump thru hoops on their demand.

Yeah I guess so. We are all living how bad it was back when Trump was in power. I just lived it again today at the store and fuel pump. We can shoot rifle, shotgun, handgun, archery, to see who's better? We can hunt small game, upland birds, geese, predators? Could see who can get a doe down first. I won't waste a buck tag on you.
I got a real nice fishing boat I can tow most anywhere. Or we can fish from shore. Lake, stream, river, pond, makes no difference. Pan fish, bass, trout, salmon, walleye, pike? You pick.
How good do you navigate with map and compass? How fast can you make fire with flint and steel? Can you make an emergency shelter? How close can you get to a deer without being detected?
I'm not the best of any of these. But I'm willing to show I'm better than YOU! I'll make it interesting. Pick five disciplines of what I just listed. For each one you beat me at, I'll donate $100 to the charity of your choice. Preferably something outdoors, or youth related. C'mon! I'm just an old man. YOU are the best at everything! Prove it to us all!! Action talks. Your BS walks! Prove to everyone you're not just a jizz jerker.
I can make time, anytime to do this. Again, anywhere neutral. Perhaps members can suggest, or offer a place? Let's get it going asap!

When you show you can match anywhere near the size of the deer I take yearly maybe I will take ya seriously. You mean I post everything an Outdoors would on a hunting site. For oh about 15 years now. Top Deer, Ducks,Vermin, Food Plots, Farming and on and on. Maybe he is sitting back and letting the site clean itself out. I’m sure he checks in and I’m also sure he see’s how much better this site is now. Hopefully when he does open things back up those that deserved the boot have no way of climbing back in. I mean that other site is so sweet why would they even want to check in here? Obviously those that stayed on this site are willing and fine living without their input.
