Are there any recipes for pumpkin brittle I want to try making it.I know we have some chefs on here and could give up some good fall baked snacks.

It suck's to have glasses but I am very thankful to be able see,Hunting would be awful if I could not see.Id rather be deaf than blind

What the heck are we already shopping.Where did the year go? This is crazy only 4 month's to go.This is a good time to get some idea's as to what to get the wife/or husband's.Santa is going to get me my land clearing equipment but no idea what to get the wife.

Here is my father inlaws thaught.Build a 8x8 building from osb sheathing and 2x4's go to local metal supply and get supply's to wrap with/sheet tin/metal.Then take 2 window ac units of 10-15 thousand btu's and insulate with pink/blue foam board and seal inside with same metal as outer shell and foil tape.This sounded so great baught material and going to take to his house and let him build it and see if it work's.Will post pic's very soon.Not sure if it will be cold enogh to freeze but will be cold enough so meat wont spoil.If this dont work still will have a great hanging area.

75K would build one hell of a hunting camp.

Yea that is what I was getting at.That 3K is an awfull lot of doe for a whitetail.Think I will spend that here in in NY.For that kind of money for a sheep or whitetail they are crazy,I can purchase several Black Angus for that and eat very well for the year.

I have got a pair of Hermin's that have been good for almost all hunting.How ever when on stand or in a blind I have a pair of mock's that I love and are nice and warm.I am not a walk around person so I like to have my seat/stand just as comfy as my recliner.

With this amount of sheep there must be someone that can/know's how to cook/prep them.If resident of Tex can you hunt them without a special permit?

What area of Texas would we be hunting?I have family in Spring Tex and got the invite to hog hunt only need to purchase out of state license.

That is a very interesting ? I know time's are different and we have alot more strickter law's/regulation's now but most sure alot of older member's could give us some idea.

So basicaly these sheep are only good for 1 thing and that is to put a mount/horn's on the wall.With the Economy so bad this is all you have to offer.Sorry But if I am going to be hunting I want to eat what I kill And no way am I paying 3 grand to hunt a White tail The cost to most NYer's is $98.00 can you match that price?Thank's for the pic's and info.

Why not try this before setting up deer camp?Gather up your supply's and head up to Peak a Moose for the weekend Located off route 17 in Roscoe NY this is realy not the same as tenting because if you are lucky enough you can use a leanto but bring your tent just incase.Been going up there for year's and is alot of fun.It is a great place to experiment with your Idea.

Still looking at some other option's.Contacted toro dealer in Albany and they are mailing me a info for this thing called a Dingo they claim that this has all attachment's from A to Z.It looks good in the pic's that I have looked at.Has any of you used them?Quite an investment but have a little extra $$$$ to play/Santa said he would help Merry xmas to me.

A off topic but reacently went to bank to cash a check and because I did not have an acount they require 2 form's of ID.The only 2 proof's that I had at the time was my drivers and hunting lisence and the teller said that my hunting was not except,so I ask to talk to manager and she said to the teller that my hunting lisence was indeed exceptable because both are connected in the system.This is another reason we should have our photo's on our Hunting lisence's.Back to topic the packiging should be changed for rifle/pistol ammo we do not make these firearm's and should not be asked for seperate permit's.Also these store's should be required to hire federal autherized gun sale's and repair tech's,

I am not to big in to rifle's so I prob should have worded different.Never realy hunted with them just target shooting .I live in a shot gun only area for deer hunting.With that said it does not matter what kind of law's they want to shake us with we are not criminal's and the one's that are will stiil get them.

I have done alot of winter camping and found that moving blanket's have worked great for padding/bedding.With the right equipment you should have no issue's except getting lost in the Adk's,Not to be a wise ass but if you can't read a compass then you need to learn.The compass is most important in my opinion.

Absolutly correct also off rt 212 going north to Woodstock.And believe you are correct about permit's.Permit's are aval on line at no cost All you need is valid fishing lisence and the number off your id card.

Has any one used a or have one of these Dr feild and brush mowers?Would like to purchase a brush mower that is a walk behind,we have a small lot across the creek problem is the bridge was only made for lawn tractor and know way to get bigger equipment to that area.This is the same area that I have cut the tree's that I was going to burn the stump's in.Back to my ? What would youall suggest.

Did you go up King's Highway toward's Saugerties for got to mention.There use to be a pull off on the south bound side of 9W that is/was for the public had a sign that stated it was a public fishing creek.We use to camp at three R'S camp ground that is how I know these spot's.

I seem to have had the same question's about the stump's.Wher I am going to be planting in the spring I have already removed the tree's and ground into mulch,but was wondering what is the best way to remove the stump's.My thaught was to split them and burn them off/out.Would'nt the ash be good for the soil.

The only thing that I know is you cannot use live tree's for a backstop.I suggest going to the state land you would be shooting/target's and read the sign's.
