    Just wondering what you all think is the best alternitive to vacume sealing you wild game.Freezer pap aluim foil or freezer bags.I use alum foil only prob is marking packages.

    I myself and neighbors still without power here on the ridge,we wont get power untill wensday just in time for the storm to nock it out again.Thank god we have a generator this time,but at $40 dollars a day is crazy.

    Hey all this storm is not looking good.Before I lost contact wanted to let you all know that im praying for all,John if there is any thing my wife and myself can do for any fellow members/on the island please let us know.And for every one thats looking at this applys to you all the same.Wish every one to be in a safe zone however looks like we are going to take another washing/flooding.Sandy is going to hit hard and stay for afew days.Just wanted to tell every one that im here to help.

    I was warned by the DEC. If I did not enclose my compost that I would indeed get a ticket.They told me that without a fence I would be in violation.Furthermore if I had any game/animals that I could/and would be charged with baiting.We've had multiple bear sightings in the area.Also I do not hunt near the orchard I did

    This is a little off topic I know of an Apple orchard that dumps their apple mashing out in a field and been doing for many years.I wonder if they can legally do this probly they can because its a ligit farm.I do know I had to put a fence around my compost pile or I was going to get fined because they considered it a bait pile.

    In my opinion and what I would do is bring letter to my lawyer and have him/she make contact with the people/person wrote you then you could go from there.I wouldn't contact without discussing with lawyers first.

    NewYork put out a warning to drivers to be alert to deer crossing roads because of the mating season.we need to be cautious near crossing signs lol

    Is it me or anyone else notice they are increasing in population.Do they have a season I've read the regulation book and not sure if we can hunt them

    When hunting areas that u ones only access is acrossed a water how do you get game to the other side,I guess just draging through the water to gut or not too?

    When I am on stand/ blind I will usually stay put until I can't see. I like to be there sometimes just to see what's moving I would not and do not shoot deer after-hours/sunset.Do keep in mind it is legal to hunt after sunset just we cannot shoot a deer or bear.

    I've taken mine to the butcher several times.Then I got to thinking that I may not be getting my deer back.Long story so let me say this butchers never pay for meat and always get the best of cuts.The other thing that pisses me off about butchers is they dont clean the way I do I was not happy to open a roast to find the tallied or silver skin removed.I will never hire a butcher again.

    What a great morning I had.Got outta bed had breakfast,then in the woods.Im on my way to my stand/ spot here she stands 17 yrds from me I'm not even ready no arrow nocked,I stopped nocked arrow and let it off rite through her the arrow lays just beond where she stood.she went about 40 yrds and couldn't see her,I gave her 1/2 hour cause I knew she was wallking dead followed blood and there she is down over the cliff.I had no choice but to Quater her and pack out.
