  1. You are right with one difference. When did God say that different races could not marry? He clearly said that people of the same sex could not. If you are a Christian, it's simple. It's a personal choice of wether to believe or not. I'm not perfect, I'm no better than anyone else, and I've done some bad stuff, but I won't apologize for my beliefs. If that makes me an intolerant bigot, so be it. Just because the government or some church gone astray says gays can marry, doesn't mean that God will recognize it. You can force it to be recognized legally as such, but that doesn't change the fact that it is not a marriage.
  2. Are you saying that you believe gays are more faithful, and have more successful long-term relationships? It's not clear to me if you are just giving an example, or if that is what you believe to be true.
  3. Now that's tolerance for you. Way to make a nationality based insult. Beautiful.
  4. I know where you are Pygmy. I've seen where you sleep. You are not a light sleeper. *SMOOCH*
  5. Everybody was playing nice nice Virgil, having a civil conversation. In typical Lib form, you start to insult people when you feel that your argument is failing.
  6. Absolutely not. Nor would I support his business if he said he would not SERVE gays. He simply said they should not be able to marry. I agree with him, and regardless of what any politician or fake church says, God says marriage is a union between a man and a woman. That's enough to end the debate for me.
  7. And while I'm at it.......brace yourself....... I think that the government was a$$hole deep in 9/11. Not only to justify a war, but to reduce resistance to big brother sticking his nose even further into our business.
  8. Are we required as non-residents to use a guide? I'm sure I would try to scrape the cash together to hire one, just wondering if they make us. I put in for either sex, with no zone preference.
  9. Hey Biz, even the cost of a Non-resident license isn't too bad, only $250.00
  10. Yeah Biz, you can't beat the price. I know it's steep odds Pygmy, but a guy's gotta dream.
  11. You're probably right Setter, but you never know, and we will only hear what they want to tell us.
  12. Anybody put in for the lottery? I did. Slim odds, but it can't hurt to start building preference points.
  13. There's always some nut out there who is willing to do anything for attention. Who knows what it takes to set them off, maybe it's the power of suggestion from an outside influence, maybe one in a position of power. You can take the conspiracy stuff as far as you want and I don't think any of it is out of the realm of possibility. Doe, I will take a foil hat in XXL, I almost have to custom order my baseball hats, because I have one big melon. (5 gallon head and a 1 quart brain tho)
  14. I'm sure that this will get me labeled, but I am inclined to believe that the conspiracy theories are possible.
  15. I read it Virgil. He said he was not serious. And so what if he was, he's not alone & he's entitled to his opinion. At least he's got the balls to say it.
  16. I don't think Thug is blaming any one person or group in particular, Virgil. He's just making an observation. It is strange how these tragedies seem to spike in election years.
  17. I hear you Culver. I just don't like his attitude, and his inability to handle when someone gives it back to him.
  18. Come on joe, I want an in depth answer as to how buck age class will result in a healthy herd? School me. Don't just say that "if you don't get it, you're a dummy". What other benefit does increasing the age of the bucks have, other than to increase the survival rate of a potential trophy racked deer? Don't minimize the question joe. HOW does it affect ACTUAL herd HEALTH?? If trophy potential is what you're after, fine, I'm cool with that, but don't put it under the guise of "herd health". So if older bucks make healthier herds, then should we start to try and age doe on the hoof, too? Should we pass on 1.5 doe, and try to focus on the ones with "good" traits, and trophy potential? Like a real long neck, or a pretty face?
  19. "I'm wondering why the buck was at the butchers... you can't eat those horns... so no need to get the deer butchered.. " - NYantler- 11/29/11 @ 1813. "as for "if it's brown , it's down" ...that's how hunters get killed!!" - NYantler 11/22/11 @2234. Sounds pretty condescending joe. Can you allow a thread to go by without hijacking it for AR promotion? Doesn't seem so based on your history. Those are just 2 of many jerk remarks you made, it only took a second to find them. I'm sure there's more. Lucky for me it's slow today, and I had the time to waste on you. Can you factually support your statement on the danger of a "brown down" policy? What does killing any deer you see have to do with being a safe hunter? Or are meat hunters just lowly slobs who shoot at any movement or noise?
  20. Joe, I was mistaken about you saying you didn't care about loss of hunter numbers. That was NFA-ADK. I am not mistaken about your "holier than thou" attitude. It really got reinforced when I just went back thru the history of the forum.
  21. I'm quite sure you did say it, I'll see if I can find it. Guys like you not only spout off your opinion, you also try to push it on everybody else. Yes joey, you are arrogant, and really not all that smart.
  22. You sure are an arrogant one. You're also the same guy who said you didn't care if hunters left the sport because of AR. Anyone who doesn't understand or care how detrimental hunter loss is to our sport, is a blowhard. Whatever you say joe. Just because YOU say something (repeatedly, in most cases) doesn't make it so.
  23. But caring about the age of your bucks does? How does a large rack, or a gene that produces a large rack, have anything to do with actual herd health? You are singling out a certain aspect of herd "health" which is desirable to you, and trying to say that is is a significant part of an overall healthy herd.
