  1. Great video and set up ! Thanks for sharing and it looks like a trappers dream area..
  2. I use the stove black if the surface is being used to cook or heat water on in pans and such. The paint I found scrapes off very soon and the stove black seems to endure the use better. Also, the stove black is easily applied over small areas to "touch up" surfaces. For show the high temp paint looks really nice when evenly applied and sprayed on....
  3. I used a "scotch brite pad" and rough the surface up and get off any old rust areas and use either high temp paint or stove polish...
  4. Really super nice offer and I wish all the best this fall...
  5. I'll let him know; he is out near Watertown in the "fly way" and is an avid hunter. Sadly ,my health won't allow me to field hunt geese as I use to do; it a very goodie intense sport !
  6. The UTV is not for sale and yes, I will throw in the double bowl stainless sink.
  7. For sale in the 12803 zip code area; I wish to sell as a package: asking $ 1750.00 and will sell as first come with cash...well over $ 3,000.00 of gear if purchased separately. All are in good condition ! 26 Goose shell decoys w/ bag 4 layout blinds (1 new in box/2 snow covers) 1 "power flag" goose flag decoy 12 "Bigfoot" full size goose decoys w/2 decoy bags 1 Higdon full body "flapper" goose decoy with hard side case (hand operated) 1 foldable dog blind 1 dog "boat dock" (adjustable) 24 floating mallard decoys with 2 bags (weighted) 18 large dog "bumpers" (Avery) black/white/orange assorted 12 small dog "bumpers (Avery) black/white/orange assorted 1 UTV camo gun case
  8. Well made and some iconic items shared..
  9. I own several shotguns and my "main" use 870 (12 ga.) was made in Illion in the early 80's; it has a great fit and finish from that manufacturing era. Shop around and also ensure that you get a shotgun that correctly fits your body frame. That is an often overlooked fact, we all tend to shop price, brand and fail to realize that this gun will be shouldered in many different seasons and situations...there is also nothing wrong with a nice used shotgun. Happy shopping, it's part of the fun....
  10. I have a Remington 870 in 12ga., most versatile weapon I own in my opinion. Interchangeable barrels, choke tubes and many shot/slug configurations available..easy on a budget and one can add "goodies" as they are able.
  11. Well thank you! Sometimes you can explain it to them clearly; but you just can't understand it for them !
  12. Steve, I honestly enjoy a great debate, I really do, and have fun on this forum when I have time. If you can decipher Babbling Joe Biden in a speech, I hope you can figure this out... If you like I can make a post about traits of ardent Trump supporters; there a lot of material there !! Thank you the activity !!
  13. Responses here has conclusively made my point; thank you !! NOWHERE, in my original post did I say they MAY ALSO apply to "the other side", correct ! You incorrectly ASSUMED that point on your own. It's called jumping to a false conclusion. I'm not exactly sure what "backtracking" you refer to and if one on a public forum has one's sensitive feelings jilted or bruise based upon other's views please by all means they are free to politely respond. I would have hoped the title and opening statement clarified that I was speaking of Biden supporters, and NOT Biden and Trump supporters, as a group.
  14. Point Made from Above steve863 LOL 3 (a) When one deflects the topic back and projects that the other side did it first or for a longer duration. DISCLAIMER : NOWHERE did I say these traits ONLY apply to Biden supporters, only I see them as common traits for Biden supporters on this forum.
  15. Absolutely nothing to do with reading comprehension; ncountry sparked my memory that I missed one yesterday... Absolutely no "double standard" intended or implied by me; my observations could mirror some on both side. However there are many middle of the road Trump people out here that believe he was the lesser of all evils. That evil being the continued political players that surface every few years and Trump was simply a change.
  16. I know this is a couple of days old but I'm speechless by the selfish insensitivity of Joy Baher talking about her vacation plans disrupted...This is the type of individual that is outspoken about politics on national TV...she is a disgrace as a human being..
  17. Maybe VP Harris can Kamalasplain it as only she can, but I'll give it a try here. Trump was, again, tooting his own horn saying Putin was "smart" for the invasion; Trump's reasoning being because he (Trump) was no longer in office, Biden has been diplomatically dealing with Putin for just over a year and this happened under Biden's watch shortly after the Olympics... NOT THAT Trump endorsed the invasion or supported Putin in any fashion.....
  18. Thank you ncountry, I missed one yesterday. We'll make it 3 (a) When one deflects the topic back and projects that the other side did it first or for a longer duration. There are a group of us here that agree with SOME of what Trump accomplished and stood for on some topics; we are not hard fast Trump supporters or have bronze busts in our home and offices of Trump we polish daily. We saw Trump as a diversion from Obama, Clinton, Biden, Pelosi and alike as career politicians. I personally found him rude, crude and very unpresidential most times, but believe he was voted in because he was "unconventional" and a different direction from mainstream politics.
  19. As part of my background and career I analyzed written and verbal statements that people have made and have observed the following points regarding political debates on this forum. A Biden supporter/Trump hater often uses the following in debating their political stance: 1. cherry picked and specifically edited charts, graphs and analytical data, in part only, to prove their point 2. when challenged on said data they often revert to the use of very specific language, phrasing and wording in an attempt make to make the challenger(s) seem or feel uneducated 3. they attempted to garner agreement by stating that the topic was discussed prior and agreement was made at the time 4. they revert to childish name calling and degrading as a shield, often the last attempt of their defense 5. at last they go silent on the subject with no legitimate response or attempts to further defend their undefendable position
  20. If I had this many "gaffs, as we all do" I hope and pray my family seek medical treatment on my behalf... WTF... How anyone can watch this and not be sad for him as a person is beyond me, or believe he's a strong, competent leader in any setting.....
  21. Putin's economy has been tenuous for years, thankfully Biden is here is mumble and stumble his way through his speeches while representing this nation. Harris can back him up if the elementary school needs a current events lesson. I'd have to believe that the sanctions against Russia involve doing far beyond Biden's administration. Also, one would be a fool if they believe Putin didn't expect broad sweeping sanctions upon the actions of invading Ukraine....Putin has been their leader for 20 years now, he's clearly not stupid. There were signs since mid 2020 that Putin was moving troops and that after the Olympics this may happen, guess any diplomatic action involving Putin and Biden wasn't fruitful? Come on man, you know the-the thing!!
  22. Is being a career politician what it takes to have "diplomacy" ,or is it making millions from profit for one's own family based dealings with foreign nations? di·plo·ma·cy | \ də-ˈplō-mə-sē \ Definition of diplomacy 1: the art and practice of conducting negotiations between nations 2: skill in handling affairs without arousing hostility Trumps was not very good diplomatic I guess; but after 4 years the world was a better and safer place, first president in like 40 years to not start a new war. I know, I know, you can label us (purported) Trump "supporters" as worshipers of the great messiah, we just must be blinded by his greatness. Hardly, I wish 90% of the time he wouldn't speak and never made it through one of his speeches either. But I believe he put America first, didn't want the US footing the bill for NATO and WHO as other administrations have done, he wished strong borders for safety and security, wanted our country to be less dependent on foreign interests for oil and sustain much better trade agreements.
  23. And your losing sight that sometime a strong possible offense to other countries may not be a bad thing, I'm pretty sure Russia and North Korea feared Trump on some level.. So instead of mean tweets one responds by calling the people of Ukraine "Iranians", very impressive diplomacy....I'm pretty sure Putin had a good laugh at that one.
