Sounds good. PM me, so that we can get in touch, say, Thursday night. -
Stewart State Land A Total Bust For Bunnies

How about this Saturday coming up? As I said, we have to get there early, though! -
My experience has been as to whether the dogs have been through an area or not. If there has been pressure by dogs in an area, the odds of me (or even other people with dogs, I've noticed), finding any rabbits, are virtually non-existent. Now, right across the road from me, there's a little field, where, obviously, no dogs can run, and there are rabbits out on the road all the time. Go figure.

Definitely. We would all have to get there early. The side I'm talking about is single spot parking. We'd have to come up with a game plan for that. -

I kid you not guys. This one spot over there is loaded with greys. I don't know if it's a matter of nobody hunting them, or what, but I hit 2 different spots, and in both spots, I saw nice greys. One particular spot, though, was overwhelmed with them. I had the .410 single shot, which isgreat for those, but I really don't eat them, so I didn't shoot any. What days are good for you guys? I know I'm definitely going over again this week, but it has to be early, or you can't get a spot. Shawn, are you good with your license? -
I shave when the wife starts griping, because she's tired of seeing it. Until then, no way!

I use a sniper sight. The multiple pins in different colors drive me batty.
-
Just wondering on that, because from what I read, anyone under the age of 18 is supposed to be accompanied by a person at least age 18, with at least 1 year of experience in hunting. That's just so you know.

Forest Hunter. I noticed that you bow hunted last year also. Does anyone go with you, when you go hunting?

Nope. No coyote sign. It was crowded as usual, but I got there at first light. Couldn't find a rabbit than to save my life. But, boy, there were no shortage of squirrels! -
I have to agree. I'm done with this thread.

Wow. To shoot a deer, just for the sake of shooting it, is dead wrong. I've lost deer in the past, and it pissed me off to the point of talking to myself. I'd ask myself what happened, what I did wrong, etc. I would literally ponder what happened for what seemed like an eternity. Your viewpoint on the subject leaves something to be desired.

Well, decided I needed a change of scenery, so I tried Stewart today. What a waste of time for rabbits. Tore myself to pieces, and covered many, many acres, and couldn't find one rabbit. The dogs must have done a number on them. I mean there was NOTHING when it came to rabbits. Squirrels, on the other hand, was a different story. While I didn't shoot any, there is one spot over there that is literally loaded with squirrels. I must have seen around 50 squirrels chasing each other in this one spot. Saw a few red squirrels also. Anybody on here that's pretty local to me that hunts and eats squirrel? Maybe we can hook up, so that I can show you this hotspot. I've never seen so many in my life. I must have seen a good 60 squirrels at least over there. -

Bachmann has to be removed-she dropped out of the race. Incidentally, I liked Herman Cain also. He was the only one that seemed to make any sense at all! -
That's one of the drawbacks to these auction sites. Each "penny" is going to cost you .60 cents. I guess if you could possibly get, say, one of the $500 gift cards for 10 "pennies", then that wouldn't be too bad, as it would cost $6 in bids to win $500.

All indications are that it's 100% legit. Now, as for Paypal, they are well known for freezing accounts for no reason whatsoever, as numerous lawsuits, in which Paypal/eBay has lost all of them is a testament to their shady ways.
-
Of course, LOL! Just kidding of course! Just thought it was interesting.
-
The thing I don't like about it though, is that they only accept Paypal, which I consider the biggest thieves on the planet. Of course, Paypal is owned by eBay, who I certainly do not consider pro gun. http://www.outdoorsmanauctions.com/

2012 Election

How come Bugs Bunny, & Daffy Duck weren't put up as candidates? Mickey & Donald are far too liberal. By the way, Elmer, thanks for the tree-the wife loved it! -
Just to play devil's advocate, I would think that the January firearms season in LI would be questionable, if antler dropping was an issue.

Oh, just for the record, the turkey was NOT taken in New York. It's illegal to hunt turkey with an airgun in New York.
-
Who actually buys the fur? I found a treasure trove of reds on state land this morning, and I'm going to hunt them with the air rifle tomorrow.
-
Only for small game. Thanks for the info, also.
