Don't forget the gallon of premethrin and your thermacell. I got my stuff ready. I too had to beg my boss (me) to take off May 1st. I gave myself a hard time but eventually gave in. LOL!
Had it. Used it when i was shooting FOBS. Too much trouble getting the timing right. So switched back to vanes and WB. No more looking for my FOBS after the shot. No more timing issues. Just load, aim and shoot.
Thanks! I've had it sitting near my wood stove the last few days to dry out the wood more and boy does it sound great!! I can't wait to use it in about 29 days!!
If I can just get my hands on precut 3" x 24"x 1/8" and 1/4" cedar stock I'd be more than happy to build one for you and I'll deliver it when I get my HuntingNY bumper sticker. LOL!
It seems that you have a better chance to get struck by lightning than to win the mega millions

I think it depends on where you are setting up. I'm gonna be set up in a blind on the edge of a cut corn field on private land. Last year it was cut soy beans. Thunder chickens don't like them. Didn't see many. The year before was cut corn and there were lots of them. So I'm crossing my fingers and toes.
