  1. My brother has the IQ site. He says it works pretty well for his purposes. It's pretty steep in price though - $200 for a 4 pin. Before archery season this year I just got a new 4 pin Bone collector tru-glo site with the light attachment for $50 at Dicks and I'm happy with it. I like the idea of the squareup mainly because it gives you a bigger reference point as to whether or not you are torquing your wrist. My eyes are not what they used to be so the bigger the better for me. They do give you a 30 day money back guarantee no questions asked. So I may just give it a try after this season is over. I don't want to be messing with my set up five days before I head back for one last round. So far I've been out hunting about 6 weekends throughout the season and the score is: Brutus 6 and me 0.
  2. I was wondering if anyone ever tried/used the Squareup Archerty Torque indicator? I'm always looking for ways to be more consistent in my shots. I do have a level on my site but that only works for left or right tilt. It is claimed that this helps you correct wrist torque. http://www.squareuparchery.com/
  3. Looking forward to one last shot this coming weekend. Otherwise I'll be making tag soup!

  4. Just picked up a 12 Gold Tip Devastator carbon arrows on sale at Dicks for $50. Last week they were 12 for $70. Gonna cut them to length today and tune them in with my bow and hopefully at least one of the arrows will be turning red this coming weekend!!!
  5. Who just saw that 59 yd field goal?? Unbelievable!!
  6. Here are some pics from my Bushnell Trophy Cam. I love this cam. Takes great pictures.
  7. What 2nd rut? Didn't see any movement today in 4 Y. Just couple of does way off in the distance feeding on cut corn.
  8. Well I coulda taken a doe on opening day. I Don't regret it. I figured there would be many floating. There were tons on my trail cam but just not this weekend. Theres always a chance to fill my reg season buck tag, and bow tag next weekend with either sex. Hopefully they will calm down and come out if hiding.
  9. Well end of firearm season and it looks as though I'm gonna be eating tag soup. One last chance next weekend with bow. Hopefully it won't be too cold and the deer will show . . .
  10. I can't believe I see nothing this morning. Conditions are ideal. Cut corn. Cold no wind. Where the hell are the deer??? This is happening in 4 y.
  11. Seeing couple doe 500+ yds. Watching a hawk that landed 100 yds from my stand in middle of corn for last 25 mins Took some good video. Waiting for it to catch his breakfast. Brutus doesnt seem to want to play this morning.

  13. Beautiful day. No action yet. Spooked doe on way in. Moon lit my path to my stand this am.
  14. I hear ya. It's 18 up here. 5 layers this morning.
  15. Thanks 138. Coffee is brewing, jumpsuit is warming by wood stove and I'm wearing 5 layers. Damn it's cold out there 18 right now with no wind in Germantown.
  16. Big bright moon shining and lighting up the fields tonite. Hopefully they'll be moving tomorrow.
  17. No snow at all. I was bummed when we pulled up. There was snow further south along the Taconic though, go figure. Sat till dark. Saw about 12 doe 500 yds away. Then a small one about 90 yds to my left walking toward my stand just as I was getting ready to come down. I shooed her away and told her to go get daddy tomorrow morning.
  18. Finally I'm back in my stand. Corn is cut Come on Brutus I'm waiting!
  19. I had a similar one in January 2010 when I listed my condo for rent down in NC on craigslist and I almost fell for it. I actually received a check for $7500 representing security and 6 months rent up front. But as soon as I saw the Western Union sh*t that's when I knew it was a scam. (The unit was not rented for nearly 2 years at that time and I was losing money paying off a mortgage) Thankfully I ended up renting it about 8 months later to a young lady who was local to the area and is a teacher and is still renting from me now. I kept the check as a reminder of how close I came to being scammed.
  20. That is the hardest thing to do but the right thing to do nonetheless. I hope Hayrake takes a stroll onto your land tomorrow and you put one right behind his shoulder.
