What ticked me off is ....... there is an "In" box and an "Out" box . They wait until the In box is stacked up before doing anything and then wait for the out box to fill before mailing . Try that with your monthly bills and see where it gets you ! > ......... ;)

I'm not really too much into Turkey Hunting but I once hunted with a guy that smokes . He had a small hole in part of his facemask to put the cigarette through . It really cracked me up !

I have a Ka-Bar knife with a 3 1/2" blade and about 7" overall length . It looks like the Ka-Bar Little Finn and was made in Olean , NY . I have had it for over 40 years and it has field dressed a lot of deer .

Well golly gee .... Guess what was in todays mail . The pistol permit addendum that I applied for on June 16 . I also got the slip for the National Instant Criminal Background Check Certification which is good for 5 years) . The addendum was signed on July 8 so it took 7 days to travel 30 miles from Lyons to Ontario . I hope to pickup the pistol this afternoon . It's a Ruger .380 acp ................yeeeeeeehaaaaaaaa . Now I can quit crying about it !

I also see a lot of folks riding along the roadside and don't get pulled over but with my luck , I would get nailed when some Trooper or Deputy was having a bad day . I have that black cloud hanging over my head ! ???

My wife bought one of the EPIC cameras for Christmas in 2008 . I used it last year , thought I had it turned on and shot the deer with the bow only to find out it wasn't on ....... .. ..

I have never gotten into the habit of wearing a facemask but know that I should . The deer will notice the glare on your face if it's not covered with camo paint or a facemask ........

I think the fire started when they burned up the Scent Loc clothing after Scent Loc lost the Law Suit !

I have mine registered and licensed . What ticks me off is the fact that it is still illegal to ride an ATV along the side of the road . So , what the hell is the license for !

I try to sit for the whole day , especially opening day . If there is a wind shift , I may change stands .

The wife and I had some venison steak for supper tonight . I used some of the McCormick's Peppercorn & Garlic marinade . Yum , yum ! :-*

I recall that when I 1st started bowhunting around 1994 - 5 that it was a rarity for deer to look up . Now it seems so common . The deer have evolved !

I got the registration for my ATV . I can renew ; My present plates -------------------- $12.50 ;D New Gold Plates with new # -----------$25.00 : New Gold Plates & keep my # ----------$45.00 ??? Guess which plates I will have on my ATV ?

I bought the butcher set from Gander Mt , a good meatsaw , a grinder from Dick's Sporting Goods store and a FoodSaver from EBAY so I have everything needed to butcher my deer . I saved a cutout piece from a countertop to cut the meat on so My butchering gear is completelt separate from and kitchen gear .

I had 4 last season and didn't fill them ............Last year was my worst season in a long time .

I was at a Garage Sale two years ago . A woman in Ontario was selling a small Have-a-heart trap . A woman that was looking around ashed her how it worked and what she trapped . The lady having the sale said she had trapped several chipmonks so the other woman said , "where do you release them" ? The sale lady said down in Walworth at Dolomite Park on Lewis Road . The other lady said , "dammit , I live on Lewis Road . So that's why there are so many chipmonks" ! But ......... she bought the trap .

Charged as a Felon for shooting a squirrel with an airgun . Kinda stupid ! Are they going to start putting folks in jail for setting rat / mouse traps or will we be required to have a Trapping License . I know it would be rediculous but it's something that could be required . Another way to pay the NYS Budget ! ... ...

They aren't an every day occurance on that property . Once in a while we see them and it's usually during the rut but it's more seldom , if anything !
