I had two Does bed down under my ladder stand in 4H on Saturday morning , unfortunately I only have a permit for 4B ------ it would be quite a drag through the woods LOL ! Anyone with an extra 4H for a 4B ?

Very few shots yesterday compared to previous years , only saw two Does in the A.M. !

In the woods at 5:40 in ladder stand ..... sit wait , 8 am see movement 100 yards out then nothing , 8:20 see movement 50 yards out then nothing , 8:45 here come two Does , they bed down 50 feet from my stand and no DMP (4H) . 9:15 I yell at them - they don't budge . The hell with it I climb down to go for coffee and kick them both ! I'll be back !

I live in 4B just south of 4J and this year I had ZERO apples on my few trees and have not seen any deer in my backyard due to that fact . I do see that the acorn production is about the same though ! I know the deer are here just not seeing the movement as much as I'm used to !

Good idea ! Think I'll setup a trail cam near the gut pile if I nail a Deer !
