  1. Old news, that crap unfortunately has been going on for many years in one form or another..
  2. I hear that Hunter 007 has a couple hot ones for sale., hes starting a used boat yard down south...lol..sorry couldn't help myself.
  3. You know the old saying, "the apple doesnt fall far from the tree". So so fitting in this case.
  4. Was 19 degress this morning, slight wind. Saw 3 doe and a button buck, came back to camp to warm up, coffee and lunch. Good luck all.
  5. Two men, two woman whats the difference, two people felt it was inappropriate and reported him. In your OP you said he was called to the HR office and now the lady with the tat IS HR. So what's gonna happen now its going to get all squashed now because SHES HR. Nothing more then two people talking, but yet he touched her. Dont really care, let your friend continue that workplace behavior, its just fine.
  6. Big difference, i doubt your dojo has sexual harrassment policy in place. This guy who works in an office and probably has alot to lose if the charges stick. You on the other hand just walk away, not getting paid anyway. But im sure if you touched someone inappropriately while training there are other means of recourse for the other party. But again i was comparing you training someone in the arts (wether you got paid is irrelevant) to someone being touched who did not asked to be touched. Big difference. Now if you train someone in the arts and touch them inappropriately well then that can be construed as being similar to the lady with the tats case. Lets not confuse touching in training for martial arts to inappropriate touching. Think i stated my case over and over...lol...but im having fun with this.
  7. How do you compare someone paying you to teach them in the arts to someone being touched inappropriately in an office, theres no correlation what so ever.
  8. Sorry to say but you seem to be clueless on what is deemed appropriate office behavior. So i understand the looking at the tattoo, but again, please explain how this guy will explain to HR the need to touch the tattoo, touch her skin??. I dont think anything will come of this, but he sure as hell better tread lighly moving forward. For those 2 ladies to report him, sorry to say that theres probably more to this behavior and they were waiting for the right time to make their move.
  9. Its not a matter of do we think, its knowing company policy and not putting yourself into that situation. As innocent as you may think this is, it can warrant an investigation by HR.
  10. Tha hardest part is when he gets sat down by HR and will have to explain why the need to touch the woman when all she was doing was showing him a tattoo. Like Phade indicated earlier, why even put yourself in that situation.
  11. Total BS for who? The guy that just touched somebodies wife, sister, mother etc..
  12. I stand corrected, please tell your friend hes fine to continue his current conduct. Let me know how that works out for him
  13. The complaint is warranted, there should absolutely be no touching in the work place, as small as you may think this is, it is sexual harrassment to touch someone. My company issues a sexual harrassment course every year to all its employees and by the terms of my companies policy, this infraction as small as you might think it is can be brought to HR and an investigation opened up. Tell your buddy to keep his hands to himself, that simple.
  14. Bingo, absolutely. I literally know a 1000 acres piece by me that does not hold a candle to my 40. Im not bragging, but like anything else location, location, location and to give myself some credit i bust my hump to improve the land just a little bit more each year.
  15. Some of my land is steep mountain side as well portions that are deep ditches a stream that runs entire length of property, woods with both good proprtion of hard and soft mass and a ton of crab apple trees. I had a few existing open fields that i converted to food plots, but i wasnt satisfied had a guy come in with a dozer and made a trail to acess the top of my property and put in two more plots. I also set aside an approx. 10 acres piece in the center of my property and desiginate that as a sanctuary, the only time i have ever ventured in there was to retrieve a deer, otherwise i stay out. Have not been in that sanctuary in 2 years. Food plots, sanctuaries, water and how you access all this plays a huge part in sucess of both harvesting and holding deer. But im a realistic person and i know that 40 acres or 500 for that matter will not keep a buck or doe confined to my land. But i will do whats needed to give them a reason to be there (or pass thru).
  16. Even a 1000 acres wont hold a buck down. Nice to have a couple hundred acres but totally unnecesaary to kill quality deer. Id take a quality 30 acre peice over a 300 acre mediocre piece any day of the week.
  17. Total BS, you dont have a clue. Ill put my 40 acres property up against any 500 acres piece near me. Its not the size, its what you do to improve the land and what the land naturally has to offer.
  18. Partially true, however too many doe can work against you. I kill a couple doe off 40 acres every year and i see more and more bucks.
  19. If you have a DMP and are willing to take a doe but yet the property you hunt forbids the takimg of doe, im sorry but the landowner or club is just clueless. Its an old mentality that makes absolutely no sense.
  20. 1) yes prague powder #1 is the curing agent i use only because i also smoke mine before i set them off to dry. 2)room temps oh god no, read my OP, they are hung in a seasonal patio and i only make these in the dead of winter so the patio is like a fridge. This can only work if you have a cold dry place to hang them for a couple to a few weeks. 3) too cold for flys, no mice then again the way i hang them mice would never be able to get to them. FYI- air pockets are not the product of the drying process. This ocurrs if the sausage is not suffed properly into the casings. You want to load the casings firmly and go slow to try and avoid air pockets. As careful as you are, you will still get some air pockets, but they should be small and taken care of before you toss that link aside. All air pockets get eliminated by using a sausage pricker (or a pin) and puncturing the air pockets and also lighly squeezing each link. Hope that helps.
  21. Cant say for sure but you should use a medium to fine plate.
  22. I cant cut it fast enough ...lol..my kids devour it, but so do i..lol
  23. I have 2 metal stakes driven into the ground that give added support to the 4x4 corner deck post, the 4x4 meat pole post is screwed into the deck post and it is also anchored to the cabin.
