  1. Nah, 5' bed is perfect for any size deer. That buck in the pic. was pullled out half way to take pic. The gate was up when i trasported him back to the house and there was still room for another deer.
  2. No, i put in a thick rubber mat made for that bed. So far works great, really keeps things from moving around . And then i put a tri fold soft cover.
  3. You would think at that price they would include shipping, its almost comical to see $29 shipping...lol
  4. Lexus, really. Oh jerkman you disappoint...lol..if you get me pic. of deer in the trunk of your lexus ill give your man card back.
  5. Well i do beleive moog is part Sicilian, might be a distant relative.
  6. Not carpet an old runner...lol..did get some blood on the bed mat if that counts. Cone on its a new truck gotta baby it a little.
  7. Got a chance last weekend to break in / bloody up the new Ford Ranger, it was a great christening indeed.
  8. What i find amazing, it really boggles my mind, that we can get so many pics. of a buck but yet they elude all these hunters for years and years. I once had a yearling on cam, a non typical with a palmated rack, looked like a moose. I only got that one picture of him. Years later i run into a neighbor that shot that buck i think it was 4-5 years later. The buck was actually featured i think 3 years back in the DEC booklet thats given out with our licenses, it was labeled as the Moose buck. Where do they go? Some are just very smart, some just being nocturnal for many years. I usually only get a crack at those big boys when they are tending a doe, trailing does to a food source...even when they are starved, they move to eat under cover of darkness. Cant tell you how many pics i have of big bucks in my plots during hunting season and the time stamp shows they come into the plot after dark and usually leave 1/2 hr. To an hour before sunrise. Theres just so much land and pockets they can hide in. The big boys know thier safe havens. I really hope you tag that big boy, would be neat considering all the documented history you have of him.
  9. As of last week the does were not ready to stand, but bucks are tending close by. Find the does from now into next week and you will be in thr money. Good luck guys!!! Living through all of you, from my office. Friday cant come fast enough.
  10. Wow, would never take a game over hunting. Too bad, missed out on a great buck. Hope you cross paths with him another time. Best of luck.
