Yeah I wanted something that would make the bears outline pop...just the black felt wasn't doing it for me, so I opted for the red and black scalloped border and I think it shows the bear well.

In last couple years I have put away my high powered scoped bolt actions and took out my dad's 50yr.old marlin 336 in 35 caliber..it's so small, compact, light weight and deadly which makes the treks upto my ridge top so much easier....oh and on the deadly part, it is very accurate and put a bear down last season in a hurry...230 lbs and dropped her in her tracks...it's my go to gun now..I'll take that olé gun over my thousands of dollar bolt actions any day of the week

Go to B and H on 42 nd street and 9th ave they have lots of trail cameras, scopes, binos etc..

My 10yr. Old boy plays travel baseball 9 months out of the year and I always encourage him to play up and it has made a world of difference in his progress. He's a true 9U division, but plays 10u and plays with some kids that are close to a year older then him. Go for it and don't look back. You also sometimes need to sit back and evaluate to make sure your kid is advanced enough to fit in and not have them get lost and feel overwhelmed if they are not skilled enough. You need to make an honest decision based upon your daughters skills and not what coaches or a league are telling you. Good luck.

Mine came with a thick back padding, there are two scalloped felt borders in black and red and open mouth..bear measured out 6 feet..set me back $900. I'm happy, guy did a good job.

Thanks..I think for the most part ny hunters don't go out with the intent to hunt bear, like myself alot of us get lucky as a bear ambles by as we are deer hunting.
