  1. Thanks terry...but i wont take all the credit. My dad helped me, but yes its alot of work. Lots of cleaning and boiled it twice for hours each time. It cleaned up real nice.
  2. Lower jaw bone..cleaned skull and sheds from 2 years ago.
  3. Got this big guy saturday morning. We have a little history. Two years ago i had him on my trail camera however during the seasons i had no sightings and then late season he started to show on camera again so i was hopeful to maybe take him in the late season or muzzleloader..little did i know when i got back from an evenings hunt in December my father said he found a set of horns neatly laying under an apple tree..i was upset to say the least but going through my mind i knew something was wrong as he shed his antlers way early, it was beginning of December. Fast forward 2 years and here he is and now that hes down i can see why he dropped early 2 years prior. He had a deformed front hoof from either birth or most likely an injury..2 years ago i put him at 3 1/2 yrs. Old. Im no expert on how to age deer by teeth, but based upon his history and having hunted this area for many years im thinking hes 5 1/2..i will post pictures of his lower jaw bone for those that are more educated on aging by teeth.
  4. My two hunting buddies my uncle who is 80 and my dad who is 75 both use ladders, permanent stands, tripod and a elevated tower stand ..they don't use hang ons nor would i feel comfortable for them to use. Both are retired from doing construction work and have no fear of climbing or heights they have just slowed down a bit.
  5. I agree, who the hell cares what others shoot as long as its legal..what bothers me is hunters that poke fun or make analogies comparing fawns to the size of dogs..im a meat eater first and foremost and make no excuses for what i kill . albeit a fawn, doe, young buck, old buck etc..and i have shot them all and they are all tasty..lets be real folks when we are buried 6 feet under do you really think anyones gonna remember or give a $hit what you have shot..have fun and enjoy this great sport while you are in this beautiful planet and enjoy nature..hunt legally and take what you want and make no excuses to anyone..

  10. Great news...gator looks very similar to my polaris utv. You will love it,much more versatile as a workhorse then an atv. No more trailers, that bed comes in very handy!!
  11. How about paying school taxes on rural property where my kids will never attend school, but sure is a benefit to others..yep a screwy system. But someone has to pay i guess.
  12. Thanks for the info., looking forward to getting that check.
  13. The almighty dollar will make people say and do crazy things..heck i know people that would sell their mother to make a buck..lol
  14. So how do we disprove a documentary that shows water coming out of a faucet that is highly flamable which is explained to be a direct affect of fracking?
  15. My entire cabin is one big trophy room.lol. Dont have pictures of the others walls..but there are countless deer horns hanging...full coyote mount and a standing bear mount..Picture Attached is of a bear rug and some of my better NY bucks..
