In my stand at 530 spooked one tht was within 30 yards for my stand. That's the most activity I've seen since opening day which was zero 6:03 am now and still very dark shooting light should be within the next 30 minutes even thou I hve heard people start shooting about now on the opener hopefully I fill my freezer today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lol took my brother in law out yesterday to my spot he texted me that he couldn't hold it much longer. I pretended not to see the text cuz I wanted to say and hunt longer. Once I finally got down and walked over to him he told me that he already dumped off in the spot I put him then covered it with grass and leaves then sprayed buck bomb on top of that was kinda annoyed he dumped in my spot but he did tell me 2 hours earlier that he had to go.... Seen nothing opening day, hunted in the rain yesterday and shit a 3 point wasn't going to but after today I can't get back out for at least a week and a half so... So far nothing at all this am besides that it is warm u havnt seen rutting or chasing. October and September my trail cams were loaded with deer pictures every day. In stand it's very nice out. Using the ladder stand for the first time my view and shootin lanes look good but now that I'm here with my gear the angle of the stand is not that great fr a lefty shooter. Saw a 3 leg coyote this am. I thought about shooting it but wanted to get a deer first. Besides I figured it he survived getting his leg ripped off somehow and still eats and stays healthy then good for him. Happened in westchester county. Deer was taken in Yorktown . From what I understand the head was hacked off. Apparently there was a feud with a neighbor last year. The neighbor is bielieved to be the thief but they can't prove it. . I believe he is printing pictures of the deer before the head was cut off. And spreading them around. Since the head was just cut and not caped out then I would suspect a neighbor or someone who doesn't like the guy so someone he knows Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yea very low he filled ou a police report and contacted the dec all they said was they were going to contact the local taxidermists to look for a head without a tag and said they would probably never find out who it was Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A friend that my brother in law works with got a nice 11 point with his bow in westchester yesterday evening, he dressed it out and hung it in his back yard for the night. He woke to an unpleasant surprise. When he went outside to look at the buck it's head was missing. Some one had came in during the night and cut the head off . He followed the trail of blood from the body to the side of his property which borders a side road..... Trail cam and stand thieves are scum but this one deserves the scum of the year award. Me my friend ad brother in law go together all day opening day. Then on our own for a but then meet up at our hunting cabin for a weekend the last day of rifle/shotgun and the beginning of muzzleloader since that area has the AR's we rarely see any bucks but see doe so it usually turns into a drinking night Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
