Saw 3 doe followed by a small buck as I was walking out at last light. I almost got a deer the hard way when I left. A big spike ran right in front of my truck and had to lock the brakes up. He stood on the side of the road just as confused as I was. Full day sit tomorrow as there is lots of action right now

While I love trail cams boy, can they tick you off. Had a buck at my other stand this morning.

This little guy hung out for about 10 min. He came in after I grunted and rattled. He was nose to the ground smelling the estrous I sprayed on the ground.

Right on point with that info, I rode an 883 and kept looking for more power to keep up with everyone. They are really light and can wheelie pretty easy though

Larry I have a fixed blade that I designed and had made for me from ball bearing steel. I've had countless knives but the marbles are still my favorite. The more I hear everyone's hobbies the more I'm relating with the interests, now I know why my wife says I'm never around. I did quite a bit of metal detecting this past summer, best finds were an old brass key and an old Indian head penny. I love craft beers and I'm currently stuck on Chatham brewing and the standard stock of Saranac, cigar season is done till next spring.

What are everyone's hobbies? I've been doing a lot research on knife making lately and got me thinking, what makes everyone else tick? Obviously hunting and outdoors is on most of our lists but what else keeps you entertained? Is it bowling night, darts, local watering hole, golf, boating, skiing? Well go ahead share it with us.

Isn't that the truth they sounded like elephants trumping around tonight. I didn't see anything at the stand tonight and kicked one up on the way out.

Didn't get a chance to go out yesterday, in the stand tonight. Hopefully something exciting happens. The squirrels are already very active.

Anyone else reminded by the overuse of exclamation marks of that Seinfeld episode?Also, you can tell the October lull is in full effect on huntingny- the new guys are getting bashed, the regulars are getting offended and it's the same argument about fenced deer and farms. It's time to reopen a thread on AR while I go pop some corn. More time in the field is needed and I could use some fresh entertainment.
