Actually, if the car hit a person at 65mph, or if a truck hit a person at 55mph, the person that was hit with the car at 65mpg would be more dead (or deader than dead if you prefer) than the one hit with a truck at 55mph. Yes Bob, I agree. But as with all things when it comes to opinion, everyone has one. As long as it's legal, and the shooter is proficient with the implement used, I see no issue. I think it's a wonderful thing when a youngster takes a moose with an implement he is comfortable with and doesn't need to flinch when shooting it. I call that, proficient.

I recall the wording for rifle hunting for deer was any center fire .22 or larger, but can't find the reference to this at the moment.
