  1. Which spotlight would you prefer to use on your hunting trips? Left or Right?
  2. Highland, don't pay any mind to virgil, he hasn't gotten his dose of attention today so he makes the comments he does to attract attention. Probably skipped his meds today too.
  3. Way too much time on your hands grow. Hehe
  4. I take it you never eat medium rare or rare steaks/venison then?
  5. Tuna is great, only if its raw.
  6. If it was so easy to do, the USA won't be in huge debt to China. A ban on Chinese products by the US government will only force the US to immediately repay the debt the US owes China, and that won't happen since we all know the US is broke.
  7. Nothing will happen to them for making a nuke threat but if you or I threaten Washington, we all know what will happen. I wonder what kind of country I live in sometimes.
  8. There are pilot programs that allow for different crafts to be used in the DEP reservoirs, but every craft that goes into the water must be steam cleaned, unless left there. As soon as the craft has left the property, it will need an appointment for steam cleaning when it returns. If you want to fish different waters, best to get more than one craft. I currently have 3 boats on 3 different reservoirs. I know folks with more than 15 boats.
  9. All DEP boating opportunities must go through a steam cleaning process to place your boat on the property. Rondout Res is quite popular, and I would imagine that there are no openings. The DEP boating office for lower NY opens very soon, maybe it's the same for the office that handles Rondout. If you want to place your boat there, make sure you show up at the appropriate boating office early in the morning and submit your application. Once accepted, schedule a steam clean and drop off your boat.
  10. The USA couldn't push past the 38th parallel back in the 50's. I hope we aren't dumb enough to try again.
  11. Ants, you're taking this very personal, and I can't blame you for what you had to go through. But that doesn't make it right for you to want to slap a law that restricts women of their right to choose. Fact remains that they have the gift of child baring, and you don't.
  12. Then the father would probably want to look into being operated on to become a sera gate father. And even then, he would need the mothers consent to use her DNA. Bottom line is, god didn't make you a woman to have babies.
  13. Ants, I don't get the beef you have with grow. If you have a problem with people that feel the way grow does, avoid them. Slapping a law that regulates everyone and how they make their choices is similar to how the anti gun folks wanting to ban guns.
  14. In today's world, instant satisfaction is what people think about and in some cases, that's all they know. Long gone are the days that people took time to get to really know one another. It really is no one else's fault but your own for not spending the time to getting to know each others stance on life, future, and family values. Instead of blaming politicians and your significant other, look to yourself first. I agree with Culver in that both parents should be involved in the child's well being, but just as males have the option to leave the woman, the woman should also have the right to abort if she feels she can't handle raising the child alone. You can't force a father to be there for the mother or child, so a way out for the mother is needed.
  15. Perhaps one should think more about investing more time into their relationship and knowing one another rather than on these forums debating issues such as these if they can't trust their partners commitment to one another.
  16. And women have died during child labor, for thousands of years. Abortion have been around for almost just as long, so why outlaw it now?
  17. Uhhh, you don't want to go to Stewart with a bow, during deer season. It's a zoo, and you most likely wont get a spot unless you wait on line. In LI, there are tons of places for bow and deer. If you want a place for rifle, get a rim fire and head up to Putnum. You can also head over to Sterling Forest for rifle as well. Small game of course.
  18. Find a woman that loves YOU enough to bare your child? Your situation should not dictate laws to empower men to make decisions for women. That's just not right, and quite selfish.
  19. That's what got the US this threat in the first place. Now you want to mess with them further?
  20. A ML can get you a good 100 yards of accuracy if you so choose to use one there. I find it a bit expensive to be shooting a yote with a .50 cal ML. Another option would be to use a .25+ cal air gun and try to take one down at 75- yards. I wouldn't waste my time with a shotgun for yotes there.
  21. Every threat is an empty one until the threat is actually carried out. I'm sure the FBI didn't think we were going to get attacked on our own soil, until it happened. Not realizing the threat as a real potential would be the real downfall of the US.
