  1. No biggie, just make sure you use as dry a gas as possible in the future to reduce moisture. I'd you can, degas totally and open the reservoir and let the moisture dry up. Then seal everything back up and slowly charge her up from a dry source. You should have no problems for a while, even under 32 degree weather.
  2. Saw similar happen at Davis Sports, someone bought a whole dolly worth of shotgun ammo. Should last them quite some time.
  3. Where and when is this contest? The deadline is on my birthday, not liking that one bit!
  4. I enjoy a high let-off number, like 75-80% let-off. That would allow me to hold the bow in full draw, longer. I bought my Parker on craigslist during the season for under $300. All it was missing was a release and D loop.
  5. Now there's a Mayor I don't mind naming a bridge after. RIP good mayor.
  6. Ginoe, what cal. is that dragon claw? I'm guessing the valve froze from the cold weather.
  7. Definitely reversals are paramount in kids doing what they are told in times of chaos. No kid should be put through this.
  8. Doc, how far out do you take shots with the shotgun? 40 yards?
  9. If you decide to go, hit me up and I'll hook you up with who to speak to.
  10. Denys, I would but this week is going to be horrible for me. Hope I can join the next one. Good luck out there.
  11. Unfortunately, I don't think a young kid will be able to stay calm enough to play anything when the shots are ringing out.
  12. Not sure how far Smith Point Archery is from there, but I've heard great things. I'm also a fan of Pro Lines in Queens.
  13. Yes, airguns are allowed to take squirrel in NYS.
  14. Yeh, those are the big bore ones, .357 and up. This one here that killed the boy is .22 and under. I won't be surprised if it was a .177. Be careful of where you aim, regardless of what weapon.
  15. http://tvnz.co.nz/national-news/teen-died-air-rifle-shot-heart-5318164/video?vid=5317803 Sadly, a young man lost his life due to careless and reckless airgun shooters. This is also a reminder and a wake-up call to those that don't think airguns are strong enough to kill. I happen to have the same model used in this incident.
  16. No, but welcome! How was the striped run this year?
  17. Understanding the fact that every profession does indeed have their flaws, as we are all human, but certain professions are held at higher standards than others when it comes to specific flaws. I.e., doctors are expected to heal, and not kill, everything else could be forgiven. In the role of a law enforcement officer, their role is to serve and protect the people, and if that is not being carried out, then there is a problem and it needs to be addressed. I'm not saying ALL LEO are flawed, but what I am saying is too many are in my neck of the woods, IMO. For someone to come out and make all LEO out to be saints, well, I'll be right behind them telling otherwise. There's always 2 sides to a story. PS, for what it's worth, I have several friends in the NYPD now, and have met and are on a first name basis with some DEC LEO, they are great people.
  18. And we get that you think they are immune to flaws, we get that too. Carry on.
  19. For some odd reason, grow's lack of proper punctuation and run-on sentences don't annoy me as much anymore.... Look, I even did one of those dot dot dot thingies.
  20. Very NYPD of the officer to lie through his teeth about having jurisdiction. And to follow the guy and try to intimidate him for asking very valid questions, I'm glad this was caught on tape.
  21. I get it now grow, I misread it as a no vote, and not a NO vote. One meaning not voting and the other being a vote of NO. Sorry for the confusion.
