  1. There's no script to follow. They generally show their true colors in these situations.
  2. She didn't mention why she didn't vote? Seems like she may be trying to play both sides here?
  3. Not really from both sides, mainly the cop lover trolling. But of course you would say both sides to make it seem like both are to his level.
  4. Phade, although I'm not big on beer, I'll take you up on the offer one day if and when I'm in the area. You're a riot and a gentleman around here. Grow, I too am curious of the contents of the 3 page response.
  5. Interesting. This is what I've been seeing too in Putnum. I thought it was the aftershock of Sandy, but it could just be the snow and high winds lately. On a side note, I witnessed a city squirrel tearing into a sparrow for a meal. City squirrels - 1. City sparrows - 0.
  6. Thanks for showing how you really feel. Tell that to all the victims of police brutality and raped females from officers on duty pulling them over and all those individuals that is profiled and unjustly harassed because they are in the minority. What's that? You won't because you don't have the balls to do that? Or are you too ignorant to accept the fact that law enforcement is nothing more than HUMANS doing human things, and some of that includes crime. The most feared criminal is one that knows the law.
  7. One day I will head on out to LI and do some squirrel hunts. Would be perfect for my Marauder.
  8. Springs are a thing of the past, more and more break barrels are coming put in gas pistons rather than springs. Springs have many disadvantages, and only one advantage, it's wallet friendly. I wouldn't look to get a break barrel for your kids, but rather maybe a multiple pump. They are lighter weight and much easier to charge up than a break barrel with a cocking effort of nearly 20-30 lbs. For plinking, you can't beat a multipump. For yourself, you can get a nice Benjamin Trail or if budget conscious, Crosman Nitro Venom. Both are gas ram rifles, and both comes equipped with a factory scope. I firmly believe picatini rails are a must on magnum springers. Here's a tip, get the gun from pyramydair.com and load up on a good 8 different tins of pellets(JSB 8.4 gr is a must) and pay for 6 tins. Shoot a couple hundred through the barrel and settle on the most accurate pellet out of the 8 quality pellets selected. If none shoots to your satisfaction, call PA and request an exchange of the airgun until you are satisfied. They will cover shipping both ways. Enjoy airgunning.
  9. Grey, talk about a wealth of knowledge! Thanks so much for your generosity in sharing!
  10. Whenever involved in an accident, or reporting a crime in progress, I expect nothin sooner than 30+ mins for a response time for NYPD in my parts. I once waited 2 hours for a cop to show up only to tell me he didn't want to take the report.
  11. I won't be surprised if this individual was from one of the richer, well policed neighborhoods of NYC.
  12. The craze is a nice budget bow. Very adjustable and made by Mathews company. It would be hard for mento buy new as well, seeing how many used bows are out there for the low prices.
  13. Or get yourself a cheap .177 break barrel for under $100 and save on ammo.
  14. Makes no difference if you're on this forum or not, it's obvious there are major differences in the views of politics and LEO on here.
  15. I believe NYC doesn't even require an education to be on the force. Have gun? Will hire!
  16. Police state. And those without the guns are more than willing to pay their salaries.
  17. You talk a big game about knowing NYC and how things work around these parts. You act as if you grew up in the areas where crime run rampant in the city. I think you know nothing of the sorts. I also think you believe these feel good laws in NYC is actually doing something against crime. All that it's doing is making the process harder ad to impose an illegal tax for those that choose to bear arms and give a damn about their families, and not be drones to the politician and their minions. The background checks aren't any stricter, nor is there any real way to prevent someone without a gun to buy one out of state or on the streets. I believe you sir, is the one that needs to shut up.
