  1. That wasn't quite the question, but thanks for trying to answer for him Doc. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  2. Hmm, but that can't be true. I don't know anyone that can say 1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi, 3 Mississippi that fast! X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  3. I believe it was higher, and later edited. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  4. What's wrong with Remington brass? X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  5. How long does it take an average arrow to reach 75 yards in today's standards? X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  6. You forgot to mention the 300 win mag, 7mm rem mag, and the .338 Lapua. There's plenty of guys that use those for deer sized game here in NYS. You don't want to be offending them now. I'm sure someone with a 50BMG will chime in too! X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  7. Thanks for posting this Doc; reminds me whom not to take archery advice from. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  8. Mind sharing the recipe once you get one going? X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  9. Hmm, I must be in the wrong forum, but it says NY Hunting, not Out West Hunting. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  10. Fair chase is something man made up to make themselves feel better about how they hunt. If you want true fair chase, go out there buck naked and with nothing but some rocks. That's fair chase. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  11. I'm not zero'd for 75 yards, so I'll probably take the easier target, and deal with tracking. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  12. This is getting a little off-topic now, since we are no longer talking about versatile hunting caliber. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  13. I've seen very few programs to promote fishing, and even less for hunting in NYS. When I do see or hear of these events, I'm pleasantly surprised every time. We need more free fishing days and more youth programs to help introduce the next generation of outdoorsmen and women. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  14. It's hard, and problematic to fit a predator light in an aspherical lens housing. I've used them in the past, and find that a deep quality conical reflector out performs an aspherical lens. The conical highly polished aluminum reflector in a high quality torch is virtually maintenance free and trouble free, especially when you need it to work on the field. The main advantage to the aspherical lens is the ability to change the beam pattern from wide, to narrow. Unfortunately, most if not all, aspherical lens are made of plastic, which will scratch over time and rob precious lumens and lux. My system is the only one in the market that isn't aspherical, but adjustment to the beam pattern is still possible, without the plastic lens. 15. Just a reference of the entire penal code of 265 for NYS since I didn't see one listed elsewhere in its entirety on the site. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  16. Why not? X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  17. You mean the fact that you are alluding to feeding wild deer in NYS under the disguise of something else? Also that you are admitting that its ok to do it, so long as the DEC doesn't have the time or shouldn't focus their efforts on these types of violations? How's that for facts? Powerful enough? X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  18. Resorting to insults so soon? X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  19. I was taught in Hunters Ed that ethics, in short, is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. You sir, do not fit the definition. Yes, what a joke. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  20. Do you know the definition of "ethics"? X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  21. http://ypdcrime.com/penal.law/article265.htm X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  22. So how many class B felons do we have in NYS? X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  23. A few months ago, you wouldn't be able to find any .223 or 30-06. Soon, you'll start seeing the less popular rounds such as the .243 and .308 again. If you were to get a short action, I'd go .243 or .308 shooting factory ammo. Long action, 270 or 30-06 factory. If loading, I'd go with a 6.5 Creedmoor. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  24. No doubt, just letting others that don't know, like the lurkers know the limits. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
  25. This seems appropriate. Btw, limit is 50. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
