In a public announcement from the Biden administration likely brought about by Vladimir Putin's decision to put his nuclear forces on high alert, FEMA has offered some guidelines. And these are evidently not intended as a joke, but they should be. In case of a nuclear attack, FEMA's guidelines say people should shelter in place in their basement if possible while encouraging people to also "continue to practice social distancing by wearing a mask and by keeping a distance of at least six feet between." That's right — apparently the greatest concern one should have while seeking to survive a nuclear attack is to avoid spreading COVID while folks are huddled together (six feet apart). Seriously, who comes up with this stuff?

Gas station in town went from $3.85 to $3.99 at 9 AM this morning. At 6 PM today it went to $4.20. Of course that's not Joe's fault at all, right? -

I think holding elected speakers seriously accountable for bald faced lies would go a long way towards establishing proper decorum. You got to expect opponents to get upset with a string of constant lies, being applauded by the speakers minions, and getting a pass from the main stream media. -

That would put you in the company of a lot of others. That's why I wouldn't. -

The rebuttal speeches are never heard by the people who need to hear them. -
I think the point he was making is, non-citizens who come to America to live and look down their nose at citizens while thinking they can tell them how to live their lives, have no credibility. It's not stupid or xenophobic. It's his opinion and he has as much right to it as anyone else. Hyperbolic responses to his opinion don't make sense.

I agree, but the lies spewed in these speeches need to be exposed somehow. The media surely isn't going to do it. -

They do not understand economics, and it appears they don't understand their own finances either.

If Trump really lost the 2020 election, it flies in the face of all the historical indicators regarding which candidate should've won. This is why people still believe the election was stolen. https://www.westernjournal.com/gen-flynn-exclusive-10-indisputable-facts-2020-election-argue-audits/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=westernjournalism&utm_content=2021-07-30&utm_campaign=topdaily -
Here's the link to the article. Most comments question why allowing bow hunters to do the job wouldn't be better. https://www.fieldandstream.com/conservation/long-island-deer-cull/?utm_campaign=trueanthem_manual&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwAR3fPfza2skYlKKSULpRa011Yb0oUrJq79MqMIswZnsofEq4A9d625T3pig

Officials hope the effort will effectively mitigate the impact of the area’s abundant deer population. Federal officials will conduct the cull during the evenings. They will shoot from stationary ground blinds and focus their efforts on the winter months because there’s less foliage to obstruct shooting lanes. They can utilize tools that are typically forbidden to recreational hunters, such as thermal imagery equipment and baiting. Deer culls have been conducted on Long Island for about 20 years and have proven to be a relatively low-cost method of wildlife management in the largely suburban area. Last year’s culling effort cost $46,231.

“It was a really heavy experience,” the hunter says of the encounter, which he filmed and shared to YouTube https://www.outdoorlife.com/hunting/deer-hunter-walks-up-on-wounded-whitetail-buck/?utm_campaign=trueanthem_AI&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwAR32n2frtn2tdrrHCMbmOpIC4MoE00xUTs9Ca_QWJ0_mitGpBhaZzxCZdMc
